AUTHOR'S POV

Taehyung noticed Jimin's pout and quiet demeanor as they were getting ready to head home. Concerned, he stopped his track and faced the smaller, "Hey, what's wrong?"

Jimin sighed and looked up at his friend, eyes reflecting his disappointment. "Jungkook didn't accept the banana milk I got him, Tae." his confessed, voice tinged with sadness.

Taehyung's heart ached at the sight of Jimin's dejected expression. He knew how much Jimin had been looking forward to giving Jungkook the thoughtful gift.

Taehyung put on a reassuring smile and held one of Jimin's cheek, "Hey, don't worry about it. I'm sure Jungkook didn't mean to hurt your feelings. And you know what? I'll gladly accept the banana milk if Jungkook won't."

Jimin couldn't help but to crack a smile, "But you don't even like this drink, Taehyungie."

"So, what! If it comes from my favorite mochi, why wouldn't I accept this?!" he playfully said while pinching Jimin's cheeks. Jimin just giggled at him and complained that his cheeks were starting to hurt.

"Oh, sorry Min," Taehyung stops pinching his cheeks as they finally made their way home. Taehyung kept a watchful eye on Jimin, making sure that he was not feeling down anymore. His lips curling upward, satisfied, seeing Jimin finally smiling again.

___

Nestled in a quaint little neighborhood, Jimin and Taehyung forged an unbreakable bond since they were still kids and developed over time. Jimin's soul burdened with the loss of his parents at an early age, from a still unknown incident, found solace in the warm embrace of his loving grandmother, who became his guiding light in the darkness.

Next door, in a sprawling mansion that caught the envy of all who laid eyes on it, resided the prosperous Kim family. Taehyung, their son, grew up in a world so different from Jimin's, immersed in luxury and abundance. But despite the glaring contrasts in their lives, fate had intertwined their paths, drawing them closer together with each passing day.

From the tender age of innocence, Jimin and Taehyung shared endless adventures, their imaginations thriving in the nooks and crannies of their vibrant neighborhood. They explored secret hideouts amidst lush gardens, got lost in the enchantments of towering forests, and let their laughter echo through the bustling streets.

Jimin's loss became an ache shared not only by his grandmother but by Taehyung's family as well. The Kim's, whose hearts brimmed with compassion and love, embraced Jimin as one of their own. His presence brought a mirthful glow to their opulent abode, his absence creating a void that was too great to bear.

Under the watchful eyes of Jimin's grandmother and Taehyung's doting parents, the two friends grew into remarkable young men. Jimin's resilience and unwavering spirit became a source of inspiration, while Taehyung's generosity and gentle nature enriched their bond.

Together, they found solace in each other's dreams, supporting one another. Their friendship embodied an unspoken promise, a connection that knew no boundaries of blood or circumstance. From comforting Jimin during his darkest nights to celebrating Taehyung's successes with heartfelt cheer, their unwavering friendship acted as an anchor, grounding their souls in the storms of life.

For their shared journey, entwined with love, laughter, and unyielding support, showcased the beauty that lies within a friendship that only the chosen few are blessed to experience.

"Are you coming over tonight, Minie? Mom can't stop bugging me about you, guess she already misses you." Taehyung asks as he persuaded Jimin, inviting him for a movie night and play games with him.

"Sorry Taehyung but I have to go to work, but maybe next time? Tell Mrs. Kim I miss her too!" Jimin said trying to convince the taller, waving goodbye.

Jimin was a young, hardworking individual who had taken up a part-time job at a bustling café in order to support himself and his beloved grandma. The quaint café, located not too far from his home, was always brimming with customers seeking a cup of warmth and delicious treats.

On this particular evening, the café was unusually busy, filled with people seeking refuge from the biting cold outside. As Jimin diligently went from table to table, his warm smile and friendly demeanor brightened the somber atmosphere. The customers, captivated by his charm, found solace not only in the café ambiance but in Jimin's presence as well.

One group of sweet customers, a family of two parents and their little daughter, were particularly fond of Jimin. Every time they visited the café, they would seek out his attention and eagerly engage in friendly banter. Jimin would playfully recommend their favorite pastries or discuss the latest books they were all reading. The little girl, with her twinkling eyes, always proclaimed that Jimin made the best hot chocolate in the whole world.

The evening wore on, and as the clock struck ten, signaling the end of another long day, Jimin felt his exhaustion settling in. Completing his closing duties, he bid farewell to his co-workers. Stepping out into the freezing night, the icy wind whipped through the alleyway as Jimin began his weary walk home.

His thoughts were solely focused on his grandma, who's always waiting patiently for him in their modest living room to come home. The image of her curled up on the couch, wrapped in a warm blanket, replayed in his mind. Despite his weariness, he quickened his pace, longing to see her and provide the comfort she deserved.

Finally arriving home, he gently opened the front door and spotted his grandma, peacefully dozing on the couch. His heart swelled with love and concern as he approached her, carefully lifting her frail body into his arms. Carrying her with the utmost care, he carried her to her room, tucking her snugly into bed, ensuring her safety and comfort.

As Jimin entered his own room, he felt the toll that the day had taken on his exhausted body. His limbs cried out for rest, and a slight chill seemed to settle within his bones, foreshadowing that he would have a fever tomorrow. Grateful for a moment of respite, he nestled into his bed, his mind filled with dreams of warmth, love, and a brighter future as sleep gently embraced him.
