AUTHOR'S POV

Jimin's heart raced as he made his way over to Jungkook. His steps were light with the weight of the bento box in his bag he prepared with so much love, and his mind was filled with the joy of giving his handmade gift to Jungkook.

As he approached the auditorium, he saw Jungkook busy organizing the upcoming event, his focused eyes darting back and forth as he instructed the other students. Jimin admired the way Jungkook took charge, his leadership evident in every move he made.

"Hey, Prez!" Jimin called out, a broad smile lighting up his face. The sound of his voice seemed to pull Jungkook's attention away from the task at hand, and he turned to glance at Jimin.

"Hey." Jungkook replied casually before turning back to the event preparations. Jimin's excitement didn't wane, though. He was determined to give Jungkook the bento box he had spent so much time preparing, and he knew it was the perfect moment to do it.

As Jungkook continued to focus on his work, Jimin discreetly reached into his bag, his fingers gently wrapping around the bento box. He felt a surge of nerves mixed with excitement as he got ready to surprise Jungkook with his thoughtful gift. But just as he was about to present the box to him, a figure suddenly appeared behind them.

"Hey Jungkookie~" Minji exuded confidence as she sauntered over to Jungkook, wrapping her arms around his biceps with a flirtatious air.

The sight made Jimin's stomach churn with unease. Jungkook, seemingly unimpressed, calmly brushed Minji's hands off him, but she remained undeterred. As she turned her attention towards Jimin, a sly smirk played at the corner of her lips. Her eyes flicked down to the bento box in Jimin's hands, and a devious idea sparked in her mind.

"Come on let's have some lunch, babe." With a calculated move, she extended an invitation to Jungkook to join her for lunch, her voice honeyed with an underlying tone of triumph while tugging the latter's arm.

Jimin watched in disbelief as Minji made her move on Jungkook. The smug look on her face told him that she knew exactly what she was doing.

He felt like he was frozen in place, unable to move or speak as he watched Jungkook reluctantly agree, his chest tightened with unexpected pang. He had prepared the bento box with the hope of sharing a special moment with Jungkook.

But here he is, watching them walk away silently and helplessly, he felt a surge of emotions swirl within him - disappointment, longing, and a tinge of bitterness at the turn of events. His gaze flickered from the departing figures to the long-forgotten bento box, clutched in his hands.

"You okay, Bub?" a voice brought him back to reality, he turned around and see his best friend with a concerned look on his face.

"Yah! You scared me!"

"Sorry Chim, but what are you doing here? Let's go, it's already lunch."

As Jimin and Taehyung strolled across the campus, the warm sun cascaded down upon them, casting long shadows across the grass. Jimin decided to have lunch in their own secret spot at the campus.

They settled beneath their beloved oak tree, its sprawling branches casting a gentle shade over them. The buzz of the campus faded into the distance, leaving the two friends in peaceful seclusion.

Jimin reached into his bag and pulled out a beautifully arranged bento box, "Here, share this with me Tae."

The vibrant colors and tantalizing aromas beckoned to Taehyung, who couldn't contain his excitement. "Woah! You made this, Jimin?" Taehyung asked, his eyes lighting up with anticipation.
