The hotel room was far larger than Connie would have went for had she known, but it was what she'd found after searching through countless suites, so she couldn't be too upset.
The tub in the bathroom had jets, and next to their deluxe king sized bed, a hot tub. She found it wasteful having two of the same thing in one hotel room, but the rose petals had made Steven sniffle and crush her into a hug.
"It's a honeymoon suite." He gripped her tighter. "You booked us a honeymoon suite."
She laughed and tried to squirm away awkwardly. "You're a big man, I had to make sure the bed was big enough for us both."
"The beds in the dorms weren't a problem, you could've gotten away with something much cheaper. You're a smart girl, you knew better." The petals made his stomach flip over and over, he couldn't help it. It was so out of character he never saw it coming. His Connie was so romantic. She'd done something like this a couple of months ago for their 6 months, but this felt even louder.
"I used your card, Steven. It was hardly a surprise." His soft breathing against her neck was sweet, but she had more planning to do before they got to Beach City. "Now off, heathen."
He released her whining all the while, but sat on the edge of the bed to watch her pull out her phone.
She glanced up after a few minutes of messaging and he looked at her so sweetly and was pining for her so hard that she momentarily lost her large motor skills and her phone dropped onto the lush floor. Somehow, he never ceased to turn her into a mess at the most inconvenient times. "Oh, fuck me."
She bent over to pick it up thinking about how distracting her Steven was even when he was t trying to be. When she erected, he was smirking at her.
"That wasn't an invitation." She clutched her phone and fought back the urge to smile nervously. It would only encourage him, though she felt like maybe she liked enabling his affectionate behavior.
He stood and strutted over to her, his hands slightly raised so they could meet her hips and pull her into him.
She scoffed and tried to back away a bit. "I mean it. Leave me alone." She narrowed her eyes as menacingly as she could, yet it didn't deter him even a bit.
He dipped down, inches from her face, humming and grinning hungrily.
Instantly her face began to burn at his closeness. A panicked hand reached up to touch it but he knocked it away and replaced it with his own, humming again even lower. He kissed his way from the corner of her mouth all the way to her ear, rumbling, "I think we should get a pizza tonight."
His presence backed off and he sat just in time for her to cry out, "Oh for the love of–!" and charge into him. He grabbed her hands to stop her playful smacks, laughing when she pointlessly struggled.
"I love that you're mine." He brought her into him and go of her hands so he could tickle her.
She yelped, bursting into laughter and trying to get him back despite her sudden inability to aim. Thank the stars he was so ticklish, she barely grazed his side before he gasped and jerked away. They both fell into the plush bed exclaiming how soft it was. It sinks just a bit under them and the blankets hit their cool skin in the most lovely way. Steven's hands were ever searching for contact when he snatched her close.
Outside of the door they hear the distinct sound of scuffling right in front of it and a knock.
"Were you expecting any guests?" He was still holding onto her waist with no intention of getting up. The outside world could fuck off.
