Capture the flag

The ear piece each student was given to communicate with their partner and teacher made a small click before Vlad King announced the start in a boisterous tone. Y/n and Hagakure took off with their ears pealed, their goal was to find some of their classmates and get to high ground in hopes of spotting 3B's flag.

"I think I see someone up ahead to the right" y/n slowed with Hagakure close behind her "let's try to stay hidden and figure out if they are with us or not" y/n dawned her camouflage as they got closer.

Monoma had captured koda and placed him in an electrically charged force field next to an unconscious kaminari. Hagakure ran into the scene without thinking and gave away their presence. Y/n couldn't use her camouflage too long or she'd weaken herself too much and dropped it completely.

Monoma laughed "you think you can stop me?" His smile reminded her a lot of a certain someone who tried to kill her sending a chill down her spine. Hagakure went to attack but he sent a bolt of electricity to her. Y/n wasn't sure if the girl had passed out or not do to her being..well invisible, but she knew monoma had kaminari's quirk and who knows whoever else's.

Hagakure yelled to y/n in shaky voice "y/n are you okay?!" Y/n felt relief that Hagakure wasn't unconscious, she kept her eyes on Monoma as he looked guarded. "Yes I am, are yo-" her face fell into a deadpan look, eyes taking on a milky white tint feeling a fog settle into her entire being.

Monoma doubled over with a cackle before reaching down and latching onto one of Hagakure's limbs "damn she really fell for that easily shinso!" He dragged her to the force field while shinso tsked at him "dont let your guard down" he looked at y/n standing motionless "go stand in the force field with your friends and don't let anyone escape."

Y/n's feet calmly moved on their own carrying her into the small prison. The two 3B students fled to the next area leaving the brainwashed girl with her three unconscious classmates.

      Koda stirred reaching a hand up to his throbbing head "jeez" he looked at the predicament they were in "y/n they got you too?" She didn't respond, didn't even move "hey you okay?" He began to stand up alerting her to which she whipped around about to thwip webs at him in order to hold him down, but his hand gripped her wrist. The action brought her out of the fog and the milky white faded from her eyes "oh fawwkk what the hell?"

     Koda chuckled at her confusion "shinso got you didn't he, kaminari hasn't woken up yet.." y/n leaned down and found Hagakure and laid her onto her back "Hagakure is unconscious still as well."

     Y/n and koda searched beyond the charged force field in hopes one of their classmates would be near by but they didn't even hear anyone let alone see them.

     "Ugh kaminari would be useful right now, I'm not even sure how monoma did this but it's definitely kaminaris quirk.." she squeezed her eyes shut thinking hard.

     Back when Max electrocuted her she was able to survive, now she had no idea how she was able to venom strike but it always felt like a surge of energy. Maybe she could try and pull energy from the force field at a controlled rate to free them.

     She opened her eyes looking nervously at koda "I think I have an idea.." he turned towards her "what is it?" She grimaced remembering how being electrocuted felt "something either really stupid or really smart."

     She lifted her hands and spread her fingers out placing them against the the charged energy. She relaxed as best she could closing her eyes and tried to imagine how she sent a venom strike but the opposite. Easy right?

      A blue spark hummed on her hand, she could feel the thrum of power surging into her like a high before it faltered off completely. She released a frustrated sigh "shit I almost had it!" Koda watched mesmerized by the concentrated girl with blue and white sparks humming back to life as she tried again successfully.
