Y/n snuck into katsuki's room after everyone retired to their rooms after a small celebration. Katsuki turned over to face her as she slipped underneath the warm blankets "did you have fun?" She hummed happily in response and turned facing him "would've been more fun if you stayed up with us" he huffed out a sigh "you underestimate how damn annoying those extras get."
She just giggled and pulled the blanket up to her chin while nuzzling into his pillow. He loved how she'd babble about random things and parts of her day every night before they fell asleep.
Her hand pushed against his chest so he would lay on his back and she scooched over half laying on him with her head against his chest. "Kat?" His thumb stroked her arm "mmh?"
"Did I impress you today?" His eyes cracked open and looked down at her "of course you did what the hell makes you think I wouldn't be impressed?" She shrugged "I feel like I'm always trying to catch up with everyone and even though I learned how to use new areas of my quirk today I just..it sounds lame but it's hard to impress The Katsuki Bakugo so I wanted to know."
He brought his hand up and flicked her forehead earning a scoff from her "you're a real dumbass sometimes, I wouldn't say I was impressed if I didn't mean it, and you know this."
His arm wrapped around her resting his hand on her waist "have some damn confidence y/n, don't make me be all fucken sappy and cheesy or some shit." This pulled a chuckle from her.
A comfortable silence fell over them. Katsuki pondered for a moment if now would be a good time to ask. Fuck it, he thought. "You said you can absorb electricity, how'd you do it?" She tilted her head up towards his face "mm well it sounds dumb but I just tried to do the opposite of a venom strike and it seemed to work. I could feel it going into my hands and body, it felt like a power up..oh! Like a power star in super mario."
He looked at the ceiling "I have a hunch on who your father might be" she sat up onto her elbow "wait what?" He held his breath for a moment not knowing if this subject would be difficult for her.
"Max's dad" he saw the gears turning in her head "her damn quirk drains electricity for her own power, and you just learned you could practically do the same in your own way. I think your venom strike is a mix of your moms spider quirk and his because it mimics a spiders venom but you used the electricity you absorbed today when you struck at that plant extra. And that night.." her wide eyes met his "I should have died" he nodded "but I didn't" he nodded again "fuck, kat I think you're right."

Dark circles made a home beneath y/n's eyes, she didn't sleep even a little bit last night. After hours of laying beside katsuki who was deeply sleeping, she slipped off the bed and tip toed to his desk with her phone in hand.
Her phone lit up making her eyes squint as she lowered the brightness. Her fingers flicked over to her photos app and scrolled to a hidden album. Her thumb settled over the home button so it could read her print unlocking it, filling her screen with hundreds of pictures of her Max and Peter.
Her thumb hovered over the last picture they'd taken as a trio. Her throat felt tight and she could feel the anxious shaking flood her body. Ever since the incident she had put all her pictures of max and Peter in this hidden album on her phone, cut contact with everyone back in the states and deleted Max out of all her social media which resulted in Peter also being deleted completely since they did everything together.
She tapped the picture filling the screen with a photo of Peter in the center as Max and y/n squished him in a human sandwich. Peter was laughing and the girls were too. It was Christmas Eve, snow scattered across their hats and scarves that they were bundled up in. They decided to sneak out and go ice skating that night.
