Suffocate Me

The August sun set on the horizon as y/n slid off her sandals and placed them in the crossbody bag she'd brought. Katsuki opted to just walk barefoot from their hotel room, although she protested but he was stubborn.

"Fuck" katsuki hopped not so gracefully on the gravelly pavement "shit, tch what the hell" y/n snickered as she slung the bag back over her shoulder "I told you to wear sandals" he huffed "it's a short walk and I am not carrying my damn shoes around like an idiot."

Y/n eyed him as he finally hopped onto the cold silky sand. "Yeah well your lucky the tiny rocks weren't pieces of glass or disease ridden needles" he rolled his eyes "yeah yeah whatever I'm fine."

Y/n took a step down the small incline of sand feeling the weight of herself sink in at the heel with each step. Once she reached the bottom she smiled, the giddy feeling she'd always felt when her toes met the sand returning full force.

"Common kat let's go to the water!" She took off in a sprint towards the ice cold water that reflected the glimmering orange red hues of the sunset.

Katsuki followed, catching up quickly. Y/n stopped to roll up her pants above her knees "what are you doing?" Y/n smiled as she finished "I'm going into the water"

She bounced into the water, the cold splashing at her ankles and slowly pulling back out. She walked further out sinking into the wet sand waiting for the tide to push back in. Darkness spread across the sky leaving only the moon to peak through the clouds.

Katsuki crossed his arms while he admired her splashing in the tiny waves as she ventured further and further. He walked closer his feet finally registering the frigid temperature of the water. "Holy shit this is cold as fuck!"

Y/n could hear him fussing over something and turned to see but couldn't help but bubble with laughter at the sight of katsuki attempting to let the water hit his ankles. The muscular man who didn't let anything get in his way was being dominated by the less than welcoming water.

Water splashed around her as she moved towards him "aww kat didn't know you couldn't handle a little cold water" his brows scrunched as a look of distaste adorned his features "fuck no this is glacier water how the hell are you out so deep in it?!"

Y/n shrugged "once your feet and legs go kinda numb it doesn't feel so bad" she cupped a small handful of water flicking it at him "you little shit!"

      She turned wading back out as fast as she could to run away from him. Katsuki scoffed and began chasing after her shrieking as the water splashed him more and more with each step.

       He caught up now knee deep when the water came in. He reached down with his hand hovering right above the water, angled perfectly so the small blast would douse her.

      Y/n's smile dropped when she realized he'd gone quiet and turned around abruptly. She gasped when the abundance of bone chilling water drenched her. "You ASS!"

     Katsuki roared with laughter and moved closer pulling her into a bone crushing hug "you asked for it for being a little shit."

     Y/n wiggled out of his grasp and pulled the hood off her head "now I'm freezing and my hoodie is soaked." He mushed her cheeks together in a firm hold between his pointer and thumb, smirk splaying on his lips "stop whining I'll give you mine."

       Katsuki dragged her back to the cold dry sand that stuck to their feet under the muted glow of the moon. He peeled her hoodie off holding back an amused laugh at her not so intimidating angry face.

     As soon as he reached to hand her his jacket she snatched it out of his hands "you won't be getting this back just for what you did." He scoffed with a smile slinging her soaked one over his shoulder "oh so what was the reason for my other hoodies hmm?"
