Self-Condemnation

Aizawa arrived with Endeavor, Hawks and a skinny All Might. The hero's quietly gathered in the girls kitchen getting caught up with everything y/n had told and discovered when talking with Star and Stripe.

"She's still asleep on the couch" Aizawa frowned "the police should be arriving soon, I hate to wake her for that." All Might nodded in agreement "I doubt she'll be able to rest easily after what happened."

Hawks looked towards the couch "you're going to have to keep a close eye on her, she cares a lot for Bakugo." All Might sighed "She is destined to be a hero with the sacrifice she made to keep them both alive."

Endeavor scoffed "or an impulsive mistake that could endanger innocent lives." Aizawa crossed his arms raising a brow "she risked dying in order to save Bakugo, he is still alive so it obviously worked. Now we have two living students to help instead of two dead."

Endeavor chuckled "yeah at what cost? How do we know if the boy isn't dead already? Who's lives will we lose in order to save him? And what if her current state injures or kills other students and civilians?"

All Might frowned at the current number one hero "Young y/n is Aizawa's student he can easily erase her quirk if need be. She also never left school premises before, she never broke the rules or snuck around I have good faith in her."

Aizawa glared at Endeavor "and saving people, risking our lives for them, its what we signed up for when we became hero's. Doesn't matter if it's one of us or not."

Endeavor clenched his jaw in annoyance "You will be responsible if this goes wrong."

Hawks smirked and opened his mouth to quip back about how hypocritical it was being that his own son is partly the reason they were here in the first place, but y/n had woken up from the sound of voices.

She nervously waved, standing in the entryway of the kitchen. Hawks, All Might and Star and Stripe smiled at her. Hawks waltzed over lazily "how're you holding up kid?"

She smiled, it didn't reach her eyes "not great." All Might set a hand on her shoulder "I am here now! We will all figure this out young y/n."

A knock at the door alerted them that the police officers were here ready to question her. All might left to go let them in as y/n awkwardly looked at the floor, she had heard most of the conversation and felt riddled with guilt.

Aizawa furrowed his brows when he noticed her long face "it's not your fault, we'll find him. Don't underestimate Bakugo either he's strong." She pursed her lips and swallowed back the lump forming in her throat, this would've never happened if she hadn't came back here in the first place.

The cops greeted the hero's and turned to y/n. She knew they needed to question her so she offered them a seat at the dinner table.

It took a couple hours before the cops left along with Star and Stripe who y/n thanked profusely before she left. They decided that Endeavor and Hawks would would drive separately behind Aizawa, All Might and y/n, to go back to the hotel to retrieve her and katsuki's things. She scanned each room in her house so she didn't forget anything before they left in a hurry to be far far away from here once again.

At the hotel Aizawa talked to the front desk while y/n and All Might grabbed her and katsuki's things. She thanked the hero for not saying anything about the one bed room that the two were obviously sharing.

Her stuff was packed, she changed in the bathroom into clean clothes and she went to organize and fold the couple of shirts katsuki left out. Her lip wobbled as she hugged the shirt they bought together, it smelled just like him still.
