Making Plans

Friday approached and everyone was beyond feral for summer break to get there. Aizawa sulked into the classroom and hushed the students "next week you'll be testing and finishing up any class work you haven't turned in yet. Since it's your third and last year you'll have an extended break, as it will probably be the last break you'll have for a long while as you enter the hero force."

His tired eyes scanned the room of students "you'll have the second half of July off along with the entirety of August. I expect you all to pass your tests exceptionally well considering after this you'll be solely doing patrols and dipping your toes into what your life as a hero will be."

He sat a stack of papers on Iida's desk to which he immediately passed them out. Y/n scanned over the study guide in her hand. She was confident and knew without a doubt she'd pass each category without a sweat, all except one.

Her breath hitched as her gaze landed on the reading writing section. Lucky for her, she'd still been tutoring with kat or else she'd truthfully be flunking this. Her lips curled up into a smile when she read part of the reading and writing test would be in English.

After class she sat in katsuki's dorm being questioned and tested in every way shape and form. Her brain hurt but she was doing well according to katsuki. "Ugh kat I can't do this anymore" her face scrunched in agony as she slumped in his desk chair.

"Tch, you're the one who needed my damn help in the first place" he crossed his arms with an amused look while she pouted "I know, but can't we do this tomorrow since it'll be Saturday?" He rolled his eyes "fine, but you better pass or else Aizawa will have both our asses" she chuckled "oh yeah I totally forgot we'd be graded on it."

      She brought herself to the bed next to him and sprawled out enjoying the caramel smell. "Kat?" He looked down at her with her head tucked into the blankets "mh?" He hummed. She released a deep breath and turned her head to look at him "remember what you told me in the hallway the other day?"

     His head cocked to the side in question "about me not greivi-" her voice cracked and she released a shaky breath before starting again "about not finding closure." He nodded watching her carefully "yeah, why?"

      She pushed herself up so she was sitting criss cross on the bed eyes trained to the blankets "I think in August I'm gonna go back to the states. I need to go through personal items and decide if I want to sell the house.." she trailed off.

     Katsuki furrowed his brows "how long? Is the school gonna allow it?" She hummed nodding her head "probably the whole month of August, of course coming back in time for school." His heart sunk at the thought of her being gone for that long "will you even be safe over there?!"

       She could sense the frustration In his voice "they are going to send a hero with me..I was going to ask if it could be you." Her words sunk in "wait for real?" She nodded "I trust you kat, we both have our hero licenses so if anything happens we can fight. To be honest I don't know how it's going to be being back, but you're the only person who i feel comfortable with."

     He pulled her into a tight hug "of course I'll fucken go." Her arms snaked around him squeezing back "thank you kat." He pulled away from her a with a grin "So I'm your hero now?" She rolled her eyes with a giggle "shut the fuck up, maybe I'll ask Mina to go instead"

     He pushed her down against the bed pinning her arms to the side of her face hands interlocked "fuck no you won't" she giggled and lifted her head planting a kiss on his nose "you're right, I'd miss you too much."

      It was Sunday evening and everyone was miserably lounging around studying or trying to desperately cool off from the heat. Y/n poked her head into Ururaka's open door knocking on the threshold. "Oh hey y/n what's up?"

    Y/n walked in and closed the door softly behind her so no one would overhear the conversation she'd have. "I need to ask you a favor."

      Ururaka's face became serious and she stood meeting y/n in the middle of the room "what is it?" Y/n fiddled with her fingers "remember how I told you about max?" She nodded waiting for her to continue "well she's in the league now, I'll be going back to the states in August and although the school said they will be watching the leagues movement I still feel better knowing what's going on without the pros and staff trying to withhold information."

     Ururaka's eyes widened slightly "and you want it to be me?" Y/n nodded crossing her arms "since you know more than anyone else and are always with Izuku I thought it wouldn't hurt if you got him in on it since he's good at finding that kind of information."

     Ururaka still looked dumbfounded "I mean I'm honored that you're asking me but why not Bakugo? You guys are pretty good friends so I would've expected you to ask him." Y/n smiled shyly "ah yes well he's actually going with me, the school wouldn't let me go without a hero so.."

      Ururaka's eyes lit up in determination "I'll do my best. Oh and y/n?" The girl quirked her head to the side in question "yeah?" Ururaka looked hesitant "Izuku is going to want to know why he's helping me with this and I'm not sure what to tell him."

      Y/n nodded her head and thought for a moment. Izuku was trustworthy and if he was looking for whereabouts information was necessary in order to find it. "You can tell him, I trust you uru." Ururaka looked at y/n with glossy eyes and a smile "you can count on us y/n!"

The girls hugged before y/n slipped back into the hallway. She headed to her room for a cool shower before sinking into katsuki's pillows for the night, as per usual.

Katsuki walked in from his balcony annoyed "fucken fine you old hag, bye." Y/n's brow arched in amusement as she sat up from her comfortable spot "who was that." Katsuki huffed while tossing his phone onto the side table "my old hag"

Y/n's face scrunched in confusion making katsuki roll his eyes "my mom dumbass" y/n made a o shape with her mouth "you call your mom old hag?" He ignored her as he climbed into bed next to her "she wants me to come home on break."

Y/n turned sending him a heartwarming smile "aw kat, are ya gonna go?" He pulled her closer to him, placing her leg over his waist comfortably "will you come?" Y/n froze "wait like me go with you?" He nodded, his finger stroking lazy circles on her thigh "and meet your parents?"

He watched her brows furrow and eyes dart to his anxiously "but kat what if they don't like me?" He rolled his eyes "don't be fucken stupid, they've been dying to meet you."

Her eyes widened slightly with a hint of smile "you told them about me?" He scoffed "of course I have you idiot why is that so surprising." A shit eating grin etched its way to her face "ooh kat you like meeee!" He flicked her forehead causing her eyes to narrow at him. "You're literally my fucken girlfriend."

Y/n squealed while wrapping herself around him "I just assumed you never told them about me." She pulled back and he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear "you think I wouldn't tell them about the one person who annoys the ever loving shit out of me?"

"Tch shut your damn mouth katsuki you know you love it." He chuckled "so will you go with?" She thought for a moment face becoming serious "okay, I'll go" he grinned toothily at her "don't stress kay? They already love you." Y/n giggled while letting her body sink further into him and the mattress. "You think Aizawa will allow it?" He nodded letting his eyes close "mh don't worry I'll handle it."
