It was a pretty good Monday for Mina. She enjoyed her weekend with her friends, Sana and Momo. She woke up feeling happy which was rare since no one's happy on a Monday.

She ran down the stairs after getting dressed for school. Luckily she only had a few weeks left before graduation. She was honestly scared where life might take her. She also was stressing over which college to attend. She shook those thoughts away when she greeted her mother in the kitchen.

"Morning mom." She sat down and started to eat her breakfast that was ready on the dinner table.

"Morning sweetie." Her mother replied while drinking her coffee. "Oh! I'm almost late for work silly me!" She panicked as she saw the wall clock. She quickly chugged her coffee and placed her dishes in the sink. "I'll be heading out sweetie, enjoy your breakfast." She pecked Mina's forehead and dashed out.

Mina sighed as she started to realize that soon enough that'll also be her. Running around, worried about being late and such adult responsibilities.

She put her dishes away after and got her belongings. She walked to the bus stop and waited for it to arrive. She plugged in her headphones and quietly hummed to the music.

"He's honestly draining me but if I leave him he's going to cause such chaos." Momo sighed and she slumped on her chair.

"I think you should honestly. If he dies he dies." Mina nonchalantly replied, having her arms crossed. Sana slapped her arm.

"Don't say that!" Sana turned to Momo who still looked down. "Momoring, just take your time. I know you'll be able to get out from that hell hole soon." She gave her a reassuring smile. An annoying laugh was heard in the hallway which made Mina's eye twitch.

"Speaking of hell hole..." Mina mumbled as her eyes darted to the door. In came in the three rich snobs. Well, Mina didn't find the other two snobby as their little friend. Both of them were pretty normal and quiet...unlike her.

"Sup poor people!" Her annoying smirk plastered on her face as she took a seat. Mina bit her cheek and rolled her eyes.

"Son Chaeyoung, please don't holler in my classroom." Mrs. Yoon sighed. 'Honestly I'm tired too.' Mina thought. She glared at the girl who met her eyes. Her smirk turned into a scowl and looked away. 'Argh! She's annoying!'

"Alright this assignment is done in pairs." I looked at Sana but her eyes already met Momo's. 'Always the third wheel.' "Don't get too excited, I'm picking the pairs." The students groaned and I was crossing my fingers that I wouldn't end up with her. "...And Mina you're with Chaeyoung."

"WHAT!?" Both her and Chaeyoung stood up. Sana and Momo were both giggling.

"Mrs. Yoon you couldn't at least pair me up with Dahyun or Tzuyu?" Chaeyoung asked in disbelief. Mrs. Yoon shook her head which made Chaeyoung slump back on her desk.

"This isn't much guys. It's just for today and you guys can go back to the usual." Mrs. Yoon smiled at both of them. Mina bit her lip in anger. 'Well it is just for today...'

Mina flinched when Chaeyoung suddenly pulled the chair next to her, a scowl shown on her face. "Let's just get this over with." She slumped on it, crossing her arms.

'Dramatic.'

"I'll make it easier on us. We just pretend we're working, by we I mean you, I'll just sit here and-"

"Look stupid?" Mina bit making Chaeyoung glare at her. Mina wanted to smirk since it seemed to have hurt her ego.

"No, I'll just nap." She closed her eyes and leaned back.

"You're unbelievable." Mina mumbled but she heard her.

"Thanks, I take that as a compliment." Mina rolled her eyes and lowly groaned. She looked up to see Sana and Momo glancing at her. They both looked away with smiles and she just shook my head confused on what was funny. She got lost in doing the assignment when Chaeyoung suddenly spoke. "You answered number 4 wrong."

"I didn't ask." She ignored her and continued but she insisted again.

"You read the question wrong." She leaned in and pointed at the sheet.

"Why are you suddenly helping!? I didn't ask for your input!" Chaeyoung was taken back by her reaction but ignored it. She scoffed and backed away, going back to her nap. Mina honestly did feel a bit bad since she didn't mean to snap at her like that. She simply sighed and looked at the question. She was right. She read it wrong and she hated how she was wrong. She glared at Chaeyoung slightly and found a smirk on her face. 'You cocky fu-'

*RING *

"Alright have a good rest of your day class." Mrs. Yoon dismissed the class and everyone turned in their sheets on their way out. Chaeyoung didn't say anything to her as she simply got up, grabbed her bag, and left. Mina did the same and walked to Mrs. Yoon's desk, placing the sheet with the others. She glanced up and saw a smile on her face. She mentally rolled her eyes and walked out.

"So how did it go?" Sana poked Mina's arm, both her and Momo were waiting for outside the class.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Mina scoffed as her two friends were giggling like children.

"I'm home!" Mina announced as she took off her shoes. She heard no response so she shrugged and went upstairs. 'She's staying late again it seems.' She decided to take a bath and try to cook something for dinner. With her best efforts, she made some chicken with broccoli. It was enough for her and her mom so she ate half of the portion. "Wow I'm a chef." Mina complimented herself, eating the night away.

Her mom got home late but thanked her for the dinner as they both went to sleep. Mina was laying down, staring at the ceiling, when she had this urge to just look at the stars. She got up and opened the window. She stared at her neighborhood and was honestly surprised that she could live in such place.

All of the neighbors were exactly like Chaeyoung though Mina thought she was worse than them. Mina found it ironic that Chaeyoung would call her poor when they both lived in the same neighborhood. She sometimes wishes that Mrs. Yoon would stop pairing her with Chaeyoung when it came to partner work. 'Like, does she really believe that we'll end up as friends?'

Suddenly she caught a star, zooming past the sky and that's when it clicked. "A shooting star!" She exclaimed like a kid. She quickly closed her eyes and said her wish. 'I wish to never be paired up with Chaeyoung no matter what.' Some might say she wasted her wish but she just couldn't stand having Chaeyoung around. Yeah she might not see her again after graduation but what if they become coworkers or something? Mina shivered at the thought and closed the window. She happily got to bed, hoping that her wish becomes true soon.

Maybe too soon.
