"You're having another party?" I asked Leah, she had invited me over to set up. We were currently outside setting up lights, they were green and red. Judd was inside upstairs yet he wasn't ignoring me. He just said, 'I'm not freezing my tits off to hangout with you losers.' so I guess he's not.
"Of course! It's a holiday we have tooo!" She whined, she was standing on the other latter setting up lights with me, I had finally bought a coat because Leah insisted we have matching ones. She was slowly becoming my best friend after everything that happened with Kaylee, and I was really grateful for it. Honestly.
"You are such a Christmas girl Leah!" I laughed as I rolled my eyes at her, she always loved Christmas, and I always loved Halloween.
"And you are such a Halloween girl Mol!" I hear the front door open as someone steps out.
"And how are the lights going faggots?" Judd walks to the end of the porch as he looks up, he had a sweater on and pants yet no shoes?
"You're not even out here to help? ughhhhh!" Leah said, she tossed some of the snow from the roof at him.
"Hey hey! It's cold as shit out here!" He says as he gives me a wink. "When you're done I wanna talk to you Molly." I roll my eyes as I nod at him and he goes inside. We weren't dating but at this point we should've been.
"What are you wearing tonight?" She asked me, I shrugged. "I'll find something I don't really know yet."
I hung up the last hook I needed to before I crawled down, it didn't look too bad. Leah had a few more to do.
"I'm gonna go see what Judd wants, I'll be back." She nods as I stomp off my shoes before taking them off and heading inside. I walked up the stairs before knocking on his door and walking in.
"Quicker than I expected you to be." He chuckled a little as he sat on his bed and looked at me.
"We'll you caught me when I was almost done. Soooooo." I shrug as I go and sit beside him.
"So for the party tonight uhm, Cass wanted to go. If she sees you she might flip out." He says,
"So what?"
"So I don't think you should go." My heart drops. I feel this knot in my throat start to build as I bite the inside of my cheek and my lip again.
"O-Okay." I weakly whisper.
"Molly- I didn't mean to-" I cut him off as I stood up.
"Just, call me when the party's over." I say as I walk out of his room, I walk down the hall and to the bathroom. Once I'm there I sit on the end of the tub as I rest my head in my hands. I can't believe I let someone make me believe they loved me, as I get snapped out of my thoughts I hear a knocking on the door.
"Molly? Hey are you okay? Judd said you didn't feel good?" I smack my head with my hand. "Yeah I'm fine, I just think I'm gonna go home tonight!" I say back, what the fuck Judd told Leah I 'didn't feel good' because he didn't want me to go to a party? The week after he told me he loved me.
I stand up off the tub, I walk out into the hall as I run into Judd's little brother, Nick.
"Are you, okay?" He says awkwardly as he rubs the back of his neck, I didn't look okay. "Uh- yeah I'm fine, I'm just gonna head home."
He nods as I walk past him and down to the door where I find Leah waiting for me.
"Is it because Cass is coming?" She asks. What the hell? "I told Judd not to bring her, he's a fucking asshole I'm sorry." She hugs me as she speaks and I hug her back. I was glad I had a friend like her here.
