Gov: Alright. We have a couple new people joining the table.

CA: I thought we said no colonization after Hawaii?

Gov: They're humans.

CA: Oh.

Gov: It's been brought to my attention that some of you have adopted kids.

NJ: Hi.

???:....i don't wanna be here.

NJ: Me neither kid.

NY:..*grumbles*

??:..*grumbles*

Gov: Mostly the Northeast. And we'll be meeting the people. Please introduce yourselves.

???: Uh....hi. I guess I'm going first? Hi. I'm Dolores, I'm Hispanic and was adopted by New Jersey.

???: I'm Nathan, call me Nat I guess, New York adopted me. I'm just white.

???: Hi, I'm Annalise, just call me Anna. Massachusetts adopted me. I'm of German descent.

MA: Mhm.

???: Hello, I was adopted by Texas, and my name is Mio-Rin, and I am of Japanese decent.

Gov:....okay, and how did all of you....you know...meet the states?

Dolores: Foster care.

Nathan: I used to be homeless and I just showed up by his house one day and then he fed me and now he can't get rid of me so he just legally adopted me.

Annalise: Yeah same here he just found me.

Mio-Rin: Orphanage.

Gov:.......they just....found half of you?

Nathan: Ye

Annalise: Oh absolutely

Gov:...okay.
