States Oneshots (Jersey-centric)

Abandoned buildings? Fun!

Massachusetts huffed, following New Jersey through the Pine Barrens. He'd told him that he'd go abandoned exploring with him, and now he was having second thoughts, but he knew he'd never hear the end of it from New York because those two told each other everything and he didn't feel like getting made fun of by New York.

Mass followed Jersey, listening to his instructions and explanations, watching as the state occasionally ran up ahead from getting too excited. New Jersey seemed really eager, the shorter male occasionally taking Massachusetts' hand to run with him.

"We're here!" Jersey declared excitedly, with Mass having to remind him to take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footsteps, to absolutely not get caught, and to avoid running and shouting. New Jersey nodded and walked inside with him. The place was, as expected, in ruins.

Glass everywhere, and they had to watch their footing for snakes and spiders. Eventually, they entered a big, open room, and a figure hung from a chandelier close to the ceiling, and the small figure grabbed a knife and cut one of the support things of the chandelier, making them fall down, and they stop right in front of them.

The entity was obviously curious, looking over them but never getting too close. The entity was a shadow with a white outlining around it, and white eyes. Once it deemed them safe enough, at least that's what it seemed like, it hopped down from the chandelier, standing up, walking in circles around the two of them.

After a couple minutes of the figure doing that, it said in a quiet voice "Leave. Neither or you are supposed to be here." and faded away after a clock chimed, and New Jersey was in complete awe. "Oh hell...that was cool!"

Massachusetts sighed and shook his head at that, but he took New Jerseys hand and led him out of the abandoned building, and when they got back, New York was at New Jerseys apartment, waiting, and immediately, New Jersey started talking about the encounter, very excitedly, and sometimes slipping between English, Italian, and Spanish while talking, showing how excited he is.

Massachusetts couldn't help but smile at his friends antics, and eventually, he left, leaving the two asshats alone.
