Chapter 5: Run

Recap: "Fine, my name is Paige Woods. I am the alphas daughter of the Red Moon Pack."

Suddenly I heard a female voice behind my supposed mate.

"Did you just say Red Moon Pack?"

The rogue growled at the female behind him.

That fucking bitch better not be his girlfriend else I'm gonna fucking rip his balls off and... wait, what the hell am I saying? Oh god, I sound like a jealous girl who has a freaking crush on the hottest boy in school. If Lucy finds out I'm acting like this I won't hear the end of her laughter.

"Cassy, what the hell are you doing here?"

So the bitch's name is Cassy... sound's like a slutty name. (No offense to people who have this name)

"Well I'm sorry Jake, I got worried about you. You are the only family I have left and I plan on not finding you dead."

Wait, his name is Jake? And they aren't dating? Family just family... THANK YOU ALMIGHTY OLYMPUS!

"Who the hell are you?" Cassy sneered at me.

"My mate so back the fuck off!" My supposed mate growled.

"Fine whatever, wait mate?"

"Yes Cassy, Paige and me are mates."

"Omg!! Hi Paige I'm Cassy Hale, also known as Jake's only cousin. It's so nice to finally meet you. Maybe now he will act a little more nicer and polite."

I looked at her in shock.

I can't believe this rogue has the nerve to talk to me. Does she not know who the hell I am?

"Well, I ought to be going. It's nice to meet you Paige!"

"Um, you too?"

After Cassy left to wherever she went, Jake sighed and looked at me.

"Look I'm sorry about her she gets a little peppy with new people. I also never got to properly introduce myself. The names Jake Connors, its a pleasure to meet you Ms. Woods."

"Look I don't care who you are just leave me alone. I'm not your mate rogue!"

He took a step back by my sudden outburst at him. Maybe even a little hurt... I turned around and ran as fast as I could back to my home.

"PAIGE WAIT UP!"

He kept screaming at me to slow down, I finally had enough and shifted back into my pure black wolf. I heard him stop once I shifted. I stopped then to turn around to give him one last warning...

"If you ever come near me again, I will not hesitate to kill you!"

I bared my teeth and growled at him, to show him I'm not afraid of doing that threat. I ran back to my home and was suddenly tackled by a light brown wolf. I jumped ontop of the wolf and but into his shoulder blade, warning him to submit to me. He whimpers at me, submitting to my warning. I notice the scent of the wolf and I regret hurting him. The wolf is my brother. Alpha Dylan watches from our home with pride in his eyes.

"Everyday, you seem to be more like me. I'm proud of you sweetheart."

He kisses my forehead and gives me a side hug before I make my way to my bedroom.
