Chapter 9: Anger

Recap: 'It hurt to think about that. How could I be away from her. She my mate and she's mine. But I still have to be careful around her.'

"Oh, ok."

"Look I should prob..."

I was cut off by the sound of howling.

"Shit I need to go. I will see you soon Princess. Stay safe."

Then I ran off back to the cabin...

Jake's POV:

"So, where did you and your little royal whore go?"

I turn around to growl at Cassy.

"So your talking to yourself again, how cute. Maybe you should stand in front of a mirror and fuck yourself. Nobody would be willing to do it for you."

"Jake I was joking. And I get bored of fucking men all the time."

"And why is that?"

"Because they flaunt how they got some from me and how big their dick is when its the size of a needle."

"Whatever just leave me alone."

"Ok Mr. I'm gonna sulk and mope in my room for the rest of my life. Now how about you tell me what's bothering you."

"What if she finds my scars? My past? What if she leaves me because of the way I am?"

"Jake, I can tell they way she looks at you. She loves you. She may not know it, but in her heart she really does love you."

"Do you think I should tell her?"

"You will when the time is right. Now how about we run away for tonight so her pack don't find us. I know how her pack is like..."

"Yea but we gotta be back in the morning ok? I don't want her to run here and find out I'm gone."

"Your the alpha Jake. It's your choice."

"Whatever let's just go."

Paige's POV:

My sister Lily drove me home. My father decided it would be safer then walking through the woods again. Lily hasn't yet said a word to me since my pack found me. I decided to speak up.

"Are you mad at me Lily?"

She slowly stopped on the side of the road and turned to look at me.

"I'm not mad, I'm disappointed in you. I thought you knew better then to run with a rogue. Unless you decided to become a rogue and betray the pack. Then I'm going to be mad."

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH BEING A ROGUE HUH? THEY ARE NOT ALL BAD. INCLUDING THE ONE I MET. AND IF YOU EVER THINK OF HURTING HIM, I WILL KILL YOU. AND THATS A PROMISE!"

She looked shocked and scared. 'What the hell is wrong with me?' Lily started to cry. 'I made my sister cry. I need anger management...'

"You better damn well stay away from that rogue Paige. Or I will kill you with my bare hands. You got that?"

After she said that I got out of her car and started walking towards the river, Lily screaming after me.

"Paige look I'm sorry I threatened you. But what the hell was that?!? You fucking screamed at me. Because of that rogue you've been getting angry at people saying he's dangerous. Do you know why we are saying that? Because it's true Paige and you better damn well list..."

I pinned my sister my her neck against and tree. She whimpered in fear at my growls.

"DO NOT. AND I MEAN DO NOT. SAY THAT EVER AGAIN. DO YOU HEAR ME?!?!"

I let go of her shifting into my black wolf. I ran towards back to the cabin where Jake and I stayed last night.

'That fucking bitch of a sister had the nerve to talk to me like that. Anger, kill. Anger, kill. I want to kill or attack something. No, I need to kill something. Someone. Anger. Anger.'

I kept chanting anger in my head as I ran back to the cabin. I started to sniff and see if Jake was there. 'God I wish he was here...' I shifted back into my human form and ran inside. I went to his room, laid of the bed, and snuggled his pillow and blanket against my naked skin. As if it was his arms holding me tight. I kept hearing his voice in my head. 'Goodnight Princess...' I then dozed off into a deep sleep.
