Chapter 10: Disappointments

Recap:
I kept chanting anger in my head as I ran back to the cabin. I started to sniff and see if Jake was there. 'God I wish he was here...' I shifted back into my human form and ran inside. I went to his room, laid of the bed, and snuggled his pillow and blanket against my naked skin. As if it was his arms holding me tight. I kept hearing his voice in my head. 'Goodnight Princess...' I then dozed off into a deep sleep...

Cassy's POV:

"Jake can we pleeeease stop and rest? I'm tired and really hungry."

"Look I just don't want them to find me or you. You are the only real family I have left."

I look at him sadly, knowing what he meant.

'His parents shouldn't have left him. And they knew he was in fucking depression because of them. At least I was there for him...'

Alpha Dylan's POV:

"She ran away? Why the hell would she do that. She should be glad she was safe from that rogue! You said she attacked you, am I correct?"

I was currently talking to my eldest daughter about what had happened on the way home.

"Yes father, she attacked me because I said she needs to stay away from that rogue. She pinned me to a tree and growled at me. I thought she was gonna kill me..."

I sigh in disappointment at the actions of my youngest child. 'How could Paige do that to her pack? Let alone, her family?'

Jake's POV:

'God I miss her so much. I wonder what she's doing? I hope she is ok... I wonder if she's thinking about me? Because damn, I can't get my mind off her. Fuck it I'm going back to that cabin! I need to see her. I want to hold her again and fall asleep with her. I want her. I need her. I love her...'

"Ok fuck it, let's get back to the cabin. I don't like it here."

"Aww does the big bad alpha miss his mate? God damn, I hope she changes you Jake. You need to shape up."

"Shut up and lets go."

I then sprint all the way back to my cabin.

Paige's POV:

I woke up suddenly, to the sound of howling. It's a howl I know all to well.

"Dad."

I ran out of the cabin and jumped through the window and ran as fast as I could. 'I smelt him. I smell Jake. Holy shit! Jake ran this way. I need to find him. Now!'

"Whooh there Princess! Where the hell are you going?"

I look at him in aw as he holds me in his arms.

"I... I was going to find you and you weren't at the cabin last night so I stayed there and I woke up and oh my god, we need to run. Now!"

"Wait why do we need to run? Princess, who are we running from?"

"My dad."

Luna Sarah's POV:

'What the hell happened to my baby? What fucking happened to her and I'm going to kill someone if she even has the slightest scratch on her. Dear Moon Goddess, please bring my baby back...'
