Chapter 8: Careful

So just to give you an idea of what Jake looks like look above ^ :)

Recap: "I'm sorry princess, I really am. At least I'm a guy that has the decency to dress you and not touch you without permission."

"Ok you got a point. Now let's go before my parents kick my ass."

As we head out of his old, abandoned cabin, I hear footsteps behind us. Jake stops to look and growls.

'God that was so sexy...'

"What the hell are you doing Cassy?"

"Um I live here? Just wondering where you're going with your girlfriend."

'Are we dating? He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend. I wonder if he will...'

"Ok first of all she's not my girlfriend, not yet. And second, its none of your business. You know I wouldn't leave you here alone all day."

"She could put us in danger Jake. Then we are BOTH dead meat!"

"LEAVE CASSY!"

I wimper at the sound of his voice as Cassy jumps and whines back in fear.

'Is that an alpha voice? Does he have alpha blood in him?'

I watch as Cassy scurries back into the cabin, shaking in fear.

"Princess? I'm sorry you didn't need to see that. Did I scare you?"

"A little bit but I'm fine..."

"You sure?"

"Let's just get going I need to be home."

"Whatever you want Princess."

Lucy's POV:

I can't believe I broke her promise. I broke Paige's promise. God I'm such a terrible friend. Now pretty much the whole pack is out looking for her. Alpha Dylan held a pack meeting and told them what I said happened. Now the whole pack is out for the rogues blood. I shouldn't have left her to go on that run then all this shit wouldn't have happened. She probably hates me right now. She could be dead for all I know. What if she went back to that rogue? Moon Goddess please keep her safe...

Paige's POV:

Questions keep running through my head as me and Jake walk back to my home.

'Does he like me? Does he want me to be his girlfriend? Is Lucy mad at me because I attacked her? Did she tell my parents? Are my parents gonna kill me? Are they gonna kill Jake?'

That last question concerns me the most.

'What if the pack does kill him? I won't be able to live through that...
