Chapter 18: The Wanting

^Paige's wolf^

Recap: I open the door and met with a worried smile. And by the smell of it, I can tell it's the Luna, Paige's mother.

Luna Sarah's POV:

I stand in my bedroom, pacing back and forth as my mate looks at me with worried eyes.

"Look I talked to her Sarah. She's ok and I can't believe I'm saying this but, I trust the rogue. We can't help the fact they are mates. It's not our choice and it is not Paige's choice. I know how you feel about rouges but Hunny, you just need to trust her."

I hear Lucy scream upstairs, "Luna! Alpha! We need him. Now!"

"Dylan, go get him. I think it's about time we meet our daughters mate."

"Mom, stop pacing. Your making my wolf worry."

"I just don't know what to do about this rouge Lily. He makes me nervous. That's not a feeling I like to feel."

*knock knock*

"Mom just breathe. It will be fine."

I walk over to the door hesitantly, slowly turning the doorknob. I open the door to see the dark eyes of the rogue. A killer. An alpha.

"Um, you must be Jake, Paige's mate. I'm her mother Sarah. Please come in."

He looked scared to be honest, I don't know if it was because I'm the Luna or his mates mom. Could be both.

"Thank you for letting me out of the cell Luna, but why did you. I'm a rogue, there is no need for me here besides um Paige."

"I wanted to meet you and so did the Alpha. We both want to know if my family is safe with you. If Paige is safe with you. The Alpha is out doing pack training. He should be home soon, but I must warn you, he reeks. It might damage your senses. Just a for warning."

"Luna, I'm sorry to interrupt but where is Paige?"

I then hear a loud screaming coming from my youngest daughter.

"HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!! MOMMY!!"

Jake's POV:

I look into the pale blue eyes of my mates mother. Scared half shitless, my train of thought was interrupted by the luna speaking.

"Um, you must be Jake, Paige's mate. I'm her mother Sarah. Please come in."

I couldn't find any words to say as my mind is just blank, afraid to say the wrong thing.

'At least her father didn't kill us'

I am pretty damn lucky he didn't.

'Well speak you dumbshit! This is our mates mother, you don't want to screw this up for us. We need fucking happiness!!' My wolf growled.

"Thank you for letting me out of the cell Luna, but why did you. I'm a rogue, there is no need for me here besides um Paige."

'Nice way to get straight to the point you idiot. You really do hate us don't you. You just have to...'
