3rd Person POV
Byeol looked up at Hye Jin and asked with a warm smile, "Hye Jin, right?"
Hye Jin stood there, facing Byeol. Her heart threatened to burst out of her chest as she struggled to find the words. She was standing in front of herself, feeling overwhelmed and tongue-tied.
"R-Right." Hye Jin's voice came out as a stammer, uncharacteristic for her.
Minho, Yeon, and Shin Joo observed the scene unfold, their attention drawn to Hye Jin's peculiar behaviour. Yeon was puzzled by her behaviour, wondering what had gotten into her, while Minho was still clueless about why she was so insistent on meeting Byeol.
Byeol smiled and remarked, "You should be resting. It was quite cold in there." Her words were referring to the chill of the well's water.
Hye Jin snapped out of her thoughts and replied, "Oh, no, I'm fine." Despite her attempt to seem calm, there was a slight quiver in her voice.
With her powers fully manifested and in full force, Hye Jin's healing process was swift and efficient. The extent of her healing capabilities depended on the severity of her injuries or illness. Minor ailments and injuries healed quickly, whereas more serious conditions took a bit more time to recover from.
Byeol smiled and said, "Well, I'll take your word for it."
Cuckoo
The sound of a cuckoo reached Shin Joo's ears. He looked confused and inquired, "Huh? Is there a cuckoo nearby?"
Yeon, a look of recognition on his face, spoke up, "I know that cuckoo. Let me go and check." With those words, he rose from his seat and walked toward the gates, leaving the others to wait in suspense.

Shin Joo expressed frustration, grumbling, "Why me? With so many of us here, why did you pick me?"
Yeon, wearing a trench coat, retorted, "Stop whining and come with me."
Shin Joo let out a sigh and inquired, "Will you at least tell me where we're going?"
Yeon responded simply, "We're going to Sunwoo Chan's house."
"Sunwoo Chan? The 'The king of gold' Sunwoo Chan?" Shin Joo questioned.
"Hm, you just have to go in and steal the jewellery box," Yeon said grabbing a cap and wearing it after sweeping his hair back.
"Me? Come on. I have never stolen anything in my life." Shin Joo said in disbelief.
"Then what? You want me to do it? The former mountain god?" Yeon said with a scoff.
"It's been 600 years, you can't use that excuse." Shin Joo said rolling his eyes.
Shin Joo grumbled as he slid the door open and walked out of the room, walking down the steps, going towards the gates, Yeon a few feet away.
Shin Joo stopped in his tracks when he saw Hye Jin in the courtyard. He walked towards her, catching her attention.
"Hey..." Shin Joo said, his face contorted in worry.
"Why are you so concerned?" Hye Jin asked with a small smile.
"You know why." Shin Joo said with a sigh.
"Don't worry." She said patting his arm. "I'm fine."
"Shin Joo, we have to reach there before that bastard," Yeon said, already by the gates.
"Coming." Shin Joo said turning around to look at Yeon.
"I don't know if Yeon told you but the daughter of Sunwoo Chan looks like Yoo Ri." Hye Jin warned him.
"What? But it's not possible she's—"
"Remember, this is an alternate timeline, so there are changes." Hye Jin reminded him.
"Of course.. Thanks for giving me a heads up." Shin Joo said and rushed towards the gates when he heard Yeon yell for him to hurry up.
Hye Jin turned around to leave after they were out of her sight. She stilled when she saw Minho looking at Byeol, who was sitting in the courtyard, lost in her thoughts.
Hye Jin felt something in her crack a little. She quickly shook her thoughts away, knowing that even if he wanted to, he couldn't interfere with this universe and that means with Byeol too.
She scoffed.
Is she really jealous of herself?
No. Han Byeol isn't her. Choi Hye Jin isn't Han Byeol.
They are both different.
Byeol was her past.
Her now, as Hye Jin, is her present and future.
