A blood red destroyer of Covenant design enters orbit of the Ark, plated over with gray metal and flaring engines like bleeding eyes. Its bulbous bow unleashed three pulses of plasma down to the surface of the Ark, near one of the Terminus power generators. The blasts obliterated terrain and rock, flattening it out and opening up the interior machinery to the contained atmosphere.
Liches began descending from the warship, deploying prefab based on either side of the crevasse. In the midst of the swarming vessels, a lone Phantom gunboat came down into the crevice, its weapons bristling with pink crystal protrusions. Beneath the surface was a labyrinth of conduits and power lines that surged with blue highlights.
The front of the Phantom opened vertically to reveal a Spartan in dark gray and red armor, the insignia of Atriox on her breastplate and cybernetic prosthetics replacing all 4 of her limbs. She stood from the seat, her mechanical arms grabbing hold of the conduit, gripping hard enough to bend and deform the metal. She tore away the covering, revealing a golden crystal the size of a Human thigh.
She chuckled lowly, grabbing the crystal with one hand and pulling it from the conduit. Alarms blared, and she sat back down in the Phantom, closing the door back up as it ascended out of the ravine. By this point, the prefab bases had been built up and fortified, reinforced with Banshees, Spirits and Wasps painted in Banished regalia. The voice of the Spartan echoed across the scorched plateau as Sentinels began swarming out of the wound in the Ark.
"Once they're shot down, collect the wreckage and bring it aboard! We leave for Suban once they've had enough of us!"
The Phantom ascended for the warship overhead as the bases opened their doors, revealing Hunters armed with Needler cannons, assisting the air forces in shooting down the Sentinels. The Hunters were able to down the machines in one shot, leaving Jackals, Skimmers and Drones to collect the remains.
