Location: Home | Bedroom"Zyaire!" Zyaire heard as he was sleeping good, tangled up in his bedsheets.
He ignored it, pressing his face further into his pillow.
"Zyaireee." Nolani continued, knocking harder on his door.
"Mmcht, what?" He called out, keeping his eyes closed.
"Hurry up and get up. I wanna open my presents already." She spoke and he sighed heavily.
"Ok, I'm getting up." He said, not moving from his spot in the bed.
A few seconds passed and he didn't hear anything else so he decided to slowly start to wake up before Nolani came back to his door.
He squinted his eyes, thankful that his parents bought him blackout curtains for his room.
His eyes trailed down to his phone that he just knew was on fire as him and Kiya fell asleep on the phone.
They were having a really deep conversation last night and Kiya ended up falling asleep right in the middle of their conversation.
He smiled to himself as he saw her still asleep in the camera, a cute pout on her face as he noticed her bonnet had fallen off.
He rolled over onto his back, stretching as he heard his back crack.
He slowly managed to pull himself up out of the bed, yawning as he rubbed the crust out of his eyes.
He grabbed his phone off the charger so it had a chance to cool down and left his room, walking across the hall to him and Nolani's bathroom.
He started doing his morning routine, brushing his teeth with his colgate toothpaste.
Right as he grabbed his cerave foaming face wash, he heard movement from his phone, making him look down.
He saw Kiya scrunching her face up as she started stretching, rubbing her hand over her face.
Zyaire waited for her to wake herself up more before he grabbed the phone, smiling in the camera.
"Merry christmas, mama. You sleep good?" He questioned, watching as she grabbed the phone, scrunching her face up.
"Mhm. Merry christmas, papa." She smiled, a tired look on her face. "I can't wait for you to see what I got you for Christmas."
"My gift definitely the best." Zyaire shook his head, wetting his face.
Both Zyaire and Kiya agreed to giving each other burr baskets this year so they didn't go too overboard on gifts.
They both didn't want the other to spend too much money even if they had it.
Zyaire's parents always taught him the value of money and not be so careless about what and who he spends it on regardless of how much money they had themselves.
