Kiya walked down the hall, humming along to her spotify playlist that played in her ear through her Airpod Pros.
She was a woman on a mission as her eyes scanned the hallway back and forth over and over again.
"Where is my man?" Kiya mumbled to herself, rolling her eyes as she couldn't find him anywhere.
She turned the corner just as she bumped into a tall male figure, immediately pushing her back a couple steps.
"Woah, watch ou- Oh, hey, I been looking for you." Kam smiled down at Kiya as she paused her music, smiling back up at Kam.
"Me too." Kiya said, looking around the student lounge before leaning against the wall.
"Where yo nigga? He still owe me 20 dollars since I beat his ass in 2k." Kam said and Kiya laughed, rolling her eyes.
"You did not beat my man. Don't play with him." She waved her finger at him.
"Mama!" Kiya heard and she turned around with a smile on her face, seeing her newly recovered boyfriend.
Zyaire walked up to her with Jacari by his side, immediately leaning down and planting three kisses on her lips.
"Sorry ian text back. My shit died right as I got out of class." Zyaire shrugged as she nodded, rubbing her thumb over his cheek.
"You're good. You ready to go home?" Kiya smiled up at him as he grabbed her bag from her and swung it on his shoulder.
Zyaire nodded, hooking his arm around her shoulder and holding her hand.
"Aye, nigga. You still owe me my damn money." Kam said to Zyaire before they could walk off.
"Man fuck allat. Kiya, what yo friend up to?" Jacari asked Kiya and she laughed, shaking her head.
"I'm not telling you." Kiya chuckled, shaking her head as Jacari sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes.
A lot had changed over the past 2 years for the entire group.
Everyone thought senior year was crazy but once they got hit with adulthood then they knew it was only going to get more crazy from there.
Kiya and Zyaire ended up getting into FAMU together, both of them more ecstatic than ever.
Over the summer after their freshman year, they both decided it was time for them to make some changes and both decided to move to Tallahasse, Florida. Just until they finished school.
They were staying in a condo that had a beautiful view of the city and the water right outside their balcony.
Most nights they decided to just sit there and chat or just sit in silence, enjoying one another's amazing company.
