Side by side, two stars fly over the grand city of Mondstadt and the surrounding forest where one's future companion slept nestled up in her brown cloak, non-the-wiser to the life changing events that would take place in the days to come.
Back to the twin stars, they finally landed on a grand stone platform amongst the cloud. Underneath a darkening sky were hundreds of pillars, some going up and some going down. The two stepped forward only to pause in their tracks, topaz eyes widening at the very sight before them ripping out in a glowing red.
The sky ripped open into three black stars with red magic surrounding it. Then out stepped - or rather floated - out a tall woman with a cold gaze. Her body was wrapped in white cloth with black, red, and gold designs. White hair flowed behind her in an elegant way.
Staring down the two travelers, the God narrowed her bright yellow eyes. "Outlanders," she announced strongly, "your journey ends here!" She whipped out her hand, a dark star appearing next to her as if to activate her powers.
The female sibling stepped forwards, eyebrows furrowing in confusion and fear. "Who're you!?" The blonde implored hastily. The Unknown God raised her chin up. "The sustainer of heavenly principles. The arrogation of mankind ends now." The woman held her hand up, creating a cube before expanding it out.
The ground below the two twins began to shine, both jumping away before a giant cube popped up and concealed them both. Now in the air, the twins summoned their golden wings and swords, ready to battle the Unknown God. They descended on her speedily.
By only lifting up a hand, the Unknown God shot various strings of black cubes at the two, the siblings barely managing to avoid them in midair. The tentacle like weapons followed them, weaving through the intricate scenery around them.
When the twins moved to the same path, there was an explosion in front of them before the Unknown Goddess stood before the two. Time seemed to pause, both twins staring at the woman with wide eyes and mouths agape.
Even with their swords pointed at her, the God still held a plain, cold look. She glanced between the two, seemingly in the act of deciding. But deciding what?
Yellow eyes looked into each pair of topaz ones. Eventually, she seemed to decide.
The invisible hold she had on Aether disappeared, sending him back with a startle. Yet her hold on Lumine stayed firm. Small cubes extended from her hand and eloped the tip of her sword, then arms, then body until the only thing not covered was her head.
"Lumine!" Aether exclaimed as he reached out to his sister. She looked at him with fear in her eyes before the cubes covered her completely. Then the blob of shapes began to disassemble, one after the other going into the Goddess' outstretched hand until nothing was left but a glowing yellow cube.
With a determined look, Aether readied his sword and flew behind the woman, weapon at the ready. Bolts of golden electricity sparked along the sharp edges. The Goddess didn't flinch, barely even giving him a glance before a massive explosion ripped through the air.
When the smoke disappeared, it left Aether panting and face to face with a giant mass of red cubes, menacingly floating before him. The Goddess, not even a foot away from him, sent the large mass into a single cube trapping one of Aether's hands.
It glowed before several more, larger and darker cubes trapped Aether within them. His vision began to began to crowd with the cubes, the Goddess standing before him blankly with no remorse. Panic flooded through him. "Wait! Don't go!" The blonde pleaded, "Give my sister back!"
