It was the day after Albedo's little experiments and the three of you were outside the front of the Knights' headquarters. You sat on the ledge, kicking your feet as Aether leaned over the stone railing next to you, Paimon floating nearby. "Geez, yesterday was a long day! Paimon almost forgot all about the dragon and the crystal and all that junk!" The little pixie exclaimed.

Aether stood up and stretched his arms out above his head. "Albedo really did have us working hard." He agreed. You hummed, about to say something only to be distracted by a flash of green in the corner of your eye. You looked over only to a guy in a familiar attire.

"Ah, look at that! We've seen him before!" You exclaimed. As if sensing someone looking at him, the boy turned and caught your eye. Brilliant aquamarine that reminded you of the sky on a day full of gentle breezes met your own (E/C) eyes. Suddenly, he grinned and winked at you before continuing to run off.

Paimon had a jump of realization. "Oh, right! The dragon and the crystal weren't the only things we saw. He looked just like that guy down there!" She noted. You nodded with a determination glimmer in your eye. "I don't think he's a bad guy. He was trying to calm down Stromterror and it seemed to be working... We should investigate!"

Aether sweat dropped. "Ah! That's a bit soon. But... it was the exact same shade of green. What a coincidence." You glanced back at him blankly. "It's the same guy, Aether." Aether looked over the railing and pursed his lips just as the guy turned a corner. "Well... Looks like him..." He admitted.

You immediately grabbed the blonde's hand and began pulling him down the stairs in tow. "C'mon! Let's investigate!" You exclaimed in excitement. Paimon nodded, following close behind. "Use Elemental Sight to track him down."

Aether agreed and did his little magic trick, turquoise footprints appearing near you. The three of you followed them until they came to a halt right at a stone wall. "His footprints lead to this wall. Did he climb up from here?" Paimon wondered aloud.

"Let's see." You said before hauling Aether to your side and using your Vision to boost the two of you over the wall. This lead you up several stairs until the three of you to the front of the cathedral. Most notably, there was the Anemo God Barbatos' statue in front of it. The God himself was draped in robes and had two large wings sprouting from his back. His hands were cupped in front in front of him and two lovely braids framing his face. Meanwhile, the boy below him had a similar look but in color. He reminded you of a violet-green swallow with his hues or green and white with the tints of blue provided by his hair. He was a bard too so he must've had a lovely voice as well.

Additionally, the green man in front of it must've taken inspiration from him having the same braids himself. He was strumming his lyre with a small crowd gathered around him. The three of you approached to better hear his soothing melody. The man glanced up, meeting your eye again, and smiled, pleased you had found him. Moments later, he began his song/story.

"What is to be sung transpired in days of yore,
When the divine archons still walked the earth.
A dragon cast his curious gaze on the world below
As he parted from the heavens that gave his birth.
The dragon sought truth amongst common folk,
But mortal trifles only fogged his mind.
The windborne bard strummed his strings dolce
And the Holy Lyre answered his questions kind.
The dragon was but a child full of wonder,
And soared the heavens free from care.
The bard's songs invited him to sing along,
For he yearned to let all perceive him fair.
Enchanting legends the bard and dragon were,
But the tides of despair soon engulfed the land;
The lion fang perished and the falcon flag slept.
As a vile dragon approached Mondstadt in lone stand,
Over the Cathedral loomed death and his friends.
Of the people's agony the bard soon sang.
The soaring dragon heeded his grave calls,
And amidst the windstorms a brutal war sprang.
Blood of venom sent the sky dragon into slumber,
Only to awake to be expelled in abhor.
"Why do people in this age loathe me so?"
But the Holy Lyre replied no more.
Wrath and woe, vigor and venom,
Poured from the dragon's bitter eyes.
The dragon's curse sprawled in silence,
But the Lyre could no longer soothe his cries."
