Aether lifted his sword high into the air, bringing it down harshly over the small meteorite shard causing it to shatter and disappear. "That seems to be the last of them," Paimon cheered with a clap, "Do you think getting rid of them will help make things better for the Springvale villagers?" She questioned as Oz and Fischl treaded over from the area they were searching about.

"The question is," Oz began, "are these shards of meteorite, which are infused with elemental energy, the true source of the calamity, or not?" Fischl nodded in agreement. "Verily, I say, these meteorites are surely the source of the nefarious nightmares that assail my subjects! This I swear on my very sovereignty."

Aether scratched his cheek wearily with a strained smile. "...Shall we check in with the villagers, then?" He suggested. "Yeah, let's do that!" Paimon nodded quickly. "Hopefully they're awake now," you added on as the five of you began walking back.

Thankfully, your hope was correct. The minute you stepped over the hill, you saw the sleeping people either awake or at least stirring within the tents. "Edna!" Paimon called out towards the sister, "We got rid of the meteorite up on the hill behind the village. How are the victims doing now? Any better?" She asked.

Edna let out a joyous laugh. "Bless you! Thanks to your efforts, two of the victims have already awoken." She exclaimed happily. The man behind her groaned as he sat up and rubbed his head. "Ugh... I'm so sleepy..." He, whose name you believed to be Hartman, yawned.

You grinned. "So it did work. Good thinking Aether." You complimented with a thumbs up. Aether perked up. "Thanks!" He said, his chest puffed out in pride like a frigate bird, of course his chest wasn't red but no matter.

"I do hope you are able to dispose of the rest of the meteorites around the village..." Edna said hopefully with clasped hands to her chest, beaming at Aether and Fischl. You pursed your lips. "I think we got most of them around here..." You muttered to her, trying to offer some sort of reassurance. "Right..." Edna replied back nonchalantly before walking away, but not before giving you a suspicious side-eye. Paimon's eyes widened. "Yikes! She totally just left you on read." She yelled... right into your eardrums.

You sweat dropped. "It's fine. I know I'm not the most popular here. But hey, less socialization for me." You muttered before quickly returning to Aether's side, a bit closer than necessary too perhaps. He didn't seem to mind.

"With some people waking up, everyone else will wake up, too!" He said cheerfully, an infectious smile over his face as he planted his hands on his hips. You couldn't help but give your own little grin up at him. He was... unfairly pretty. And so naturally did he fit into the hero role. Shame you were like a black stain on his perfect image.

With a bright look in his eyes, Oz fluttered his wings happily. "This is wonderful news, it gladdens the heart." Fischl huffed and made some type of gesture with her hands, waving them all about over her face and chest. "Haha, it is most gladdening, indeed. Yet the news that I would be attending to this matter in person was surely the only guarantee that my faithful subjects ever needed of a felicitous outcome!"

While Fischl continued on with her rant, Paimon floated over to the recently reawaken man and poked his cheek. "Hey, you just woke up, right? What were you dreaming about while you were asleep?" She asked curiously with a tilt of the head.

Hartman huffed and rubbed at his head, bringing a hand down over his face with a groan. "All I remember is that it was cold... I was walking along a mountain path... In the ice and snow, I think..." The male replied with furrowed brows, trying to remember all he had witnessed just a few minutes prior to waking up.
