You followed Venti to the entrance of the Cathedral to which you carefully slipped out of before Barbara came stomping down the stairs with daggers in her eyes aimed mainly at Aether as Jean tried to calm her down. Though you felt bad for abandoning the traveler, you were gonna stick with him the rest of the way in finding his sibling - so can he really be that mad?

When the door closed behind you, Venti was just a few feet in front of you, continuing to run away. You stepped forwards and opened your mouth to call out to him, but suddenly paused as two spots of black appeared on the ground behind him. Suddenly, two Pyro Fatui agents rose up and tried to jump the bard who paused in surprise.

You didn't think to yell to warn him, rather than just jump into action. Summoning your sword, you leaped between the two agents and swiped your rapier at them, a large gust of wind sending them back and fumbling to the ground. Venti chuckled. "Heh, I should hire you as my personal guard," he joked.

You returned his grin. "You wish." You replied. Before the bard could say anything else, a blast of cold wind froze your back over causing you to squeak and tense up, stumbling forwards in surprise and further away from the Archon. Venti whipped around and created a shield of wind in front of the both of you to provide some protection from the frozen air.

However, the shield neglected to protect his feet which ended up getting froze to the ground. "Ven-" You tried to step forwards to him only to be subdued by the two Fatui agents tackling you down. You let out a noise as they pressed your head against the ground, your cheek burning against the frozen spot of stone below you. You grumbled and struggled in resistance to their hold, but they didn't falter.

"At last, Mondstadt's rodent ruler in the flesh," an elegant yet condescending voice rang out. You shifted your head in order to see in front of you. Though you've never seen her in the flesh, you knew instantly who it was. Most people would really.

La Signora, The Fair Lady — The Eighth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.

Platinum blonde hair down to her legs with grayish, cold blue eyes and blood red lips. Her dress was long and intricate albeit not quite suited for combat. That being said, her sheer presence alone could scare off an entire army - and by the way she walked with a sway in her step - she knew it.

"Scurrying through the streets, looking for leftovers..." Signora drew out as she approached the trapped bard with a sneer joined by two Electro agents behind her. She grabbed his face and turned it cheek to cheek with a harsh, criticizing look. "Mondstadt calls this a god?"

Venti braced against her hold. "Resident rodent... beats invasive vermin—" Her face twisted into that of anger for a brief second before slapping him across the face. You struggled against the agents once more who only pressed you down harder against the stone.

The fair lady glanced over at you for a moment before going back to stare at Venti with a blank look. "Don't you dare speak back to me, insolent bard," she hissed in disgust. Venti narrowed his eyes before summoning a small whirlwind around him that broke off some of the ice encasing his leg.

Signora blinked and backed up slightly only for her gaze to narrow again. "Absentee archon of Mondstadt... How impotent you have become..." The blonde nearly snarled out with a curled lip.

Venti blinked up at her innocently with a small, sharp look. "That smirk you wear looks out of place. Did you steal it from your master's face?"

The harbinger's jaw clenched in anger and, just as Venti broke free from the ice, Signora used her Cryo power to push him back and make him lose his balance. She suddenly launched forwards and, once she was face to face with him, said, "Should have held your tongue," before stabbing her hand into his chest.
