Comparing people to birds has been somewhat of a habit to you - one of the highest forms of honor you can bestow on someone. For example, Kaeya was like a peacock, Albedo was like a snow bunting, and Jean a dove. However, in this very moment, you couldn't help but decide the Acting Grand Master looked more akin to that of a chipmunk.

Sitting across from you at the Good Hunter, just as you had promised to take her during the Stormterror attacks, Jean looked to have an almost healthier, more vibrant glow despite solving the issue just yesterday. And now her cheeks were stuffed to the brim with her favorite (and thankfully for you, cheap) dish - the invigorating pizza.

With all that stress gone (or at least most of it), she looked almost as shining as Barbara, the deaconess of the cathedral. Those two really do look alike...

"Mhm! I feel like it's been forever since I've had Good Hunter," Jean said as she swallowed down the last bit of her pizza slice, "I guess all that work with the Stormterror incident really took up my time..." She admitted with a light sweat drop.

You grinned and took ahold of the straw of your drink. "You need a vacation. Maybe a beach trip or something." You reported to her calmly. Jean sighed. "Even if the whole four winds ordeal is over, I've still a lot of work to do. Although, I'll consider it." She replied, thinking of perhaps taking Barbara and having a sisters' trip. It sounded... nice. Perhaps she could even invite you.

"So, how long until you go off to Liyue? Word has it you and Aether are off to the land of Geo next." The Acting Grand Master questioned as she took the last slice of her pizza and began eating, you having already finished with your own meal (you specifically tried to keep it light due to your limited funds).

You nodded. "Yup. We're going tomorrow to make it to the Lantern Rite. That's why Aether's out with Paimon gathering materials and getting ready. But I've already replenished both my chocolate and bird seed supplies so I'm good." Jean just chuckled. "Well, just know, Mondstadt will always welcome you with open arms."

Lightly laughing to yourself, you nodded your head. "Yeah, especially with my criminal record expunged." You murmured as the blonde finished off the last of her food.

With the food gone, the two of you got up and pushed in your chairs. "Thanks again for taking me out. I really enjoyed it," Jean thanked with a sweet, almost shy smile. "I said I would, and I do my best to keep my promises." You said as you grabbed the Sticky Honey Roast you promised to bring to Paimon.

"And speaking of promises, I told Aether I'd meet him outside the Adventure's Guild. I think Katheryne mentioned she wanted to speak to him or something." You explained as the two of you began walking down the street. "I see. Well then, may the wind guide and protect you throughout your journey. And should you ever find yourself in need of assistance, know that Mondstadt and it's Knights will be delighted to help," Jean said as the two of you paused at a fork in the road.

You put your hands on your hips. "I'll keep that in mind. Again, thank you, for everything." You said, bowing respectfully before her in a hurried, almost embarrassed manner. She giggled. "Until our paths meet again, yes?" You nodded and waved her off.

"See ya later, Jean!" You called back, making your way to the adventurer's guild. As Jean reached the doors of the knights' headquarters, she turned back to look at you before her lips cracked into a smile. "...See you later, Y/N." The blonde said softly before going inside.

Standing nearby the Adventurer's guild, you rocked on your heels to your toes as you waited for your traveling duo to arrive. It didn't take long before tiny hands placed themselves over your eyes accompanied by a series of giggles. "Guess who~! Oh, oh, oh! Did you get Paimon her Sticky Honey Roast?!" The mysterious person asked.
