You met Aether by the stairs leading up to the plaza, calmly leaning against a wall with Paimon floating by his side. "Ah! There you are, Y/N! Did you get your arm bandaged?" Paimon said upon seeing you. Aether smiled.

Nodding, you showed it to them. "Yup. All better. Anyways, did you get your sword?" You asked. "Yup! Aether even joined a guild. It's called the Adventurer's Guild. Pretty cool, right?" Paimon explained with a bright grin. "Huh. Sweet. Bet you'll climb up the ranks in no time." You teased, landing a light punch on Aether's arm.

He chuckled and rubbed his arm, nodding towards the stairs leading upwards. "Alright, enough joking. Let's go met Amber." He said gently. So, the three of you descended up the stairs, two by walking, one by floating.

Upon seeing the both of you, Amber eagerly waved, even going as far as standing up on her tippy-toes. "Guys! Over here!" She called with a bright grin. "Hi, Amber. Long time no see?" You asked as the three of you approached her.

She laughed. "I know, right? Hey, I see you got your arm bandaged up. Thank Archons. Anyways, welcome to the plaza." She frowned a bit as she looked around the mostly unpopulated area. "This used to be a bustling street... But with so many Stormterror attacks recently, the usual crowds are nowhere to be seen. Except for the local tavern near the city wall over there. They haven't been affected. If anything, their business is better than ever." She said with a shrug.

Amber than looked back at you with a smile. "So, the present I want to give you is... A Wind Glider!" She declared proudly while showing it to everyone. "Outriders use them to ride the wind, and the people of Mondstadt love using them, too. I brought you here to give it to you so you can experience it right away!" She suddenly sweat dropped. "Ah... but I only have one."

You sent her a reassuring smile. "No worries Amber. I already have a wind glider." You explained. Everyone looked at you in surprise. "Really? This is the first time Paimon's hearing about this!" The pixie exclaimed.

Holding out your hands, you summoned your wind glider, your pride and joy. It was smaller than the usual wind glider, but that just made it faster. Crafted with the inspiration by a hummingbird (a Violetear one specifically) the glider was decorated in iridescent feathers of blue and green that practically glittered in the sunlight.

Amber's eyes sparkled. "Wow! That's the most beautiful pair of wing gliders I've ever seen!" She cried. You laughed. "Thanks." It was a gift from your father - one you couldn't possibly part with along with your dagger.

Paimon stroked her chin in thought, staring at Amber with a sense of thoughtfulness. "Oh, you're really excited about these wind gliders, huh!" She observed. Amber laughed gleefully. "Well that's because the wind is the heart and soul of Mondstadt! Alrighty then, enough talk! Let's let Aether give it a whirl!"

Aether's eyes widened, blinking in surprise. "Me?" He asked. "It's easy to use," Amber reassured, "but you still need to pay attention to my instructions." You placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, I'll be there with you every step of the way. Well, every breeze of the way."

"You're a natural!" You said excitedly after landing, raising your hands up so Aether could take a hold of them and land as well. A smile that seemed to challenge the sun crossed over his face, gladly grabbing ahold of your elbow and hauling himself into you.

Amber hopped up in glee. "Wow! You both did amazing! Especially you, Y/N! Where'd you learn to fly like that?" She asked. You grinned, un-wrinkling your clothes from the wind. "I guess you could say I had a pretty good teacher." You admitted slowly. But now you couldn't help but wonder... where was he now?
