Dear Miss Gryffindor

I would be honored to have you attend Hogwarts. We will do the sorting at the first feast of the term.

Best regards

Head Master, Albus Dumbledore

I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding as I finish the letter, I'm going back, standing up I walk to the bookshelf and pull out a book on Patronus charms, I fall back on my bed and spend hours reading when one of the final chapters peaks my attention, I reread the chapter multiple times making sure I read it right, We have two Patronus'? One is our own and the other is the one destined for us, I think,

To access this second patronus one must think of their core memories not their happiest, this memory or experience must define who they are while casting the spell Expecto Patronum.

Seems easy enough, I shrug sitting up and holding my hand out in front of me, I think about 5th year in The Department of Mystery watching Sirius die, being tortured by Bellatrix, seeing my friends hurt and in pain,

"Expecto Patronum," I say strongly my hand still out in front of me, a blue wisp leaves the tips of my fingers but disappears after a few moments. Standing up and kicking my bed in frustration before readying myself again and replaying the same memories,

"Expecto Patronum!" I yell, and the shape of a four legged creature appears but disappears, practically growling in frustration before shifting into my animagus form, a beautiful lioness. After pacing around the room for a few minutes and shifting back running my hands through my hair before pointing both of them in front of me and continuing to reimagine that night,

"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" I scream and a grey wolf leaps from my hands and runs laps of the room, I let a laugh escape my lips before turning around,

"Jack look..." trailing off as I remember, tears prick my eyes at the memory of his face when the spell hit me, a nudge against my face snaps me from Jack, turning I see the wolf stretching my hand out I gently stroke the patronus until it disappears. Sighing I walk out of my room to the dining room sitting at the table for dinner with the three elves that have become my new family.

...

"WHAT THE FUCK!" I scream jumping off an armchair in the Gryffindor common room, How in Merlin's beard did I get here? I question looking around the room. Not a single person is in the common room, glancing around the armchairs and couches are in different spots and a different rug on the floor. Subconsciously I start playing with the pendant on my necklace then freezing when I come to the realisation of how I got here, If it works for getting to Gryffindor Manor, it must work for Hogwarts too. I walk over to the fire holding my hands out to warm up before I notice the candle holder right around the side of the fireplace, moving towards it I feel for an engraving, and smile when I find it. I push the engraving and hear a small click, the side on the mantel shimmers for a moment before returning to normal. I gasp when my hand goes straight through the bricks, crossing my fingers and closing my eyes I walk through the mantel.

"Woah," I whisper looking around wide eyed, the room is covered in papers and books but there is a particularly neat section, pulling out a bunch of papers from a file. A smirk crosses my face, "Guess who won't be doing much homework for the next two years," I say to myself looking at all of my old homework assignments, in the bookshelf all of my old school books are sitting organised by year. Pulling out my potion books I let out a sigh of relief seeing all of my notes and slightly altered methods and still in there. Gently placing all the papers and books back, I move to the desk and see some older designs of the castle, pulling out the chair and sitting down I read over the blueprints seeing the Chamber of Secrets, Room of Requirement, and all the hidden passageways. Carefully folding all the parchment and finding places for them, I grab an empty diary and start writing,
