Chapter 6

Remus

"I can't believe she said that!" Sirius huffs while sitting down for lunch, Shut up Sirius, I think rubbing my temples. Tomorrow is the full moon and everyone of my senses is extremely heightened,

"Who said what?" James asks sitting beside me,

"Gryffindor, She got a spell first in charms and Professor Flickwick complimented her, and she beamed like how Lily does. So I whispered into her ear 'You're not better than everyone else' and she turned around to face me and gave me a smirk before whispering in my ear, 'I am better than you.' Like seriously she can't be better than me," Sirius grumbles,

"Shut up Sirius, it's loud enough in here," I mumble placing my head on the table,

"Oh right sorry, it's a furry problem week," He says before talking quietly to James and Peter. sighing I start rubbing my temples hoping to help with this headache when I hear someone approaching behind me,

"Are you ok Remus? You look sick," The concerned voice of Natalia says behind me causing all the boys to look in her direction with suspicion,

"Yeah, but a cold," I shrug placing my head on the table,

"Maybe you should go to the Hospital Wing and Madam Pomfry can give you a potion. James, what's the the date?" She questions while sitting down beside me trying to catch my eyes,

"He doesn't need to go to the Hosptial Wing, and it is the 28th," James says narrowing his eyes at her,

"Wait it's the 28th already," Natalia exclaims looking at me concerned before jumping up, "Just find me if you need anything, Remus,"

"Oi Gryffindor!" Sirius yells just as she starts to rush off,

"What?" She responds turning on her heel to face him with an annoyed expression,

"You think you're better than me right?"

"Wrong I know I'm better than you," She sasses rolling her eyes with a smug smile setting on her lips, and soon a small smile plays on my mine for the first time today watching her piss off my mate,

"You're not, so let's make a competition out of this. Whoever can snog the most people by the end of the school year is better than the other. All previous songs count too," He states smugly and I feel my smile form into a frown at this,

"Oh Siri you have no idea what you just got into," She smiles sweetly, "It's a deal," Then she walks off and meets Marlene, Lily, Mary, and Alice by the door before they all disappear from sight.

"I mean mate you just looked desperate there trying to prove you're better than her, but I doubt she's going to win you've already kissed a quarter of the girls in this school," James laughs with Peter and Sirius before they start coming up with a plan of strategy on how Sirius can kiss more girls. Rolling my eyes I place my head back down on the table and try to zone out the rest of the world. I raise my head after a while and see Peter looking at me concerned while Padfoot and Prongs are in heavy planning.

"What's up Wormy," I say looking at him and waiting for him to answer why he was looking at me concerned,

"You just look worse than last month," He whispers, and I know he's right. Normally I can't feel my wolf at all during the rest of the month but he's been restless this time around,

"Yeah, Moony decided he didn't want to disappear this month," I mumble, my eyes looking over the Hall making sure no one's listening, "I think I want to get to the Sheicking Shack a little earlier just in case. You know?" Peter's eyes widen since normally I hate going there,

"Yeah ok," He says looking worriedly as we split off. James and Peter are going to Charms, Sirius Herbology, and I have Potions. Walking into the room I notice everyone is standing at the back and make my way over to everyone else.
