"Why are there 5 puppies in my car?" Mr Evans says irritated as we all climb into his car, "I am fairly certain they were NOT with you when I dropped you off." Lily laughs nervously hiding her face in her pup which she names Buttercup's fur. He turns to look at all of us strictly and everyone avoids his gaze,
"We kinda found them in a box on the sidewalk that said free puppies..." I mumble nervously joining Lily in hiding my face in my puppy's fur which I haven't named yet.
"Oh god..." He sighs rubbing his temples together before putting the car into gear and driving us back to The Evan family home.
