Sonic's POV:

I could feel my heart race as I watch Shadow get closer to me. He seemed to grow in size as my fear grew. Letting go of the doorknob as I started to back further out of the room. I watched as a sinister smile formed on Shadow's face. Almost being frozen in fear, until Shadow growled I finally bolted. Going down the hallway and banging on Knuckles' door for him to wake up. I did the same to Tails' door. I didn't have time to explain, I just ran. Terrified of who I let in this house... or maybe... what came in the house. What has gotten into him?! What is he? Something is terribly wrong! Thoughts running through my head as I then heard Tails scream. Knuckles right behind Tails as they ran. We all got out of the house. As we all ran into Tails' workshop in the backyard. It was freezing cold, feeling like I had walked into the artic. Tails locked up the workshop and kept all big lights off.

Knuckles: "What the hell was that?!"

Tails: "What's going on?"

Knuckles: "How did that get in our house?!"

They all kept asking so many questions. I just fumbled back and sat on the rough couch Tails had in there for when he needed to relax. My head was spinning. Feeling my paws shake as I saw that... that thing take over who I thought was Shadow. Whatever it is, it isn't him. Or maybe it was... I just can't wrap my head around all this so early in the morning. Tails and Knuckles kept badgering, trying to figure out what was going on. Taking deep breaths I felt my body relax a bit. Hiding some stronger feelings that were going through me.

Sonic: "Look, whatever that thing... was... it either is... or took over Shadow. I don't know what happened. One moment he was talking to himself, the next I walk in and he... he looked like some sort of..."

Knuckles was listening, as I paused to think of something that looked like Shadow at the moment.

Tails: "... Alien? I mean, Sonic... think about it! When you saw him, he has a weird tail that isn't one of a hedgehogs. He didn't know anything about this place. When we gave him food, he seemed to be more confused than happy. He was stunned when he saw us hanging out like a family. Maybe he is an alien. I also noticed my dictionary was moved from my desk in my room. Maybe he used that to learn more about our language and culture."

I felt my heart sink. The intimate moment I had with him yesterday, that kiss... was this all to just play with me? Was he only here to get under my skin and harm Mobius?! No... I can't let my feelings get ahead of me. What I did was out of instinct, yet... even with knowing he is an alien. I don't seem to regret my actions. I could feel my head getting heavy and my vision becoming blurry. This was all too much to take in at once. I have formed feelings for the alien that I had let into the house. All because I'm such a sweet guy. I let a complete stranger come into our house, and now look at us. We're hiding in my lil' brothers workshop. I can't even accept the fact I did such a stupid thing. My head was so stuck in the clouds, my thoughts started to spill out of my mouth.

Sonic: "... I kissed him... I kissed an alien."

Both Tails and Knuckles went silent, staring at Sonic. The two mobian's in complete awe of what Sonic had just said.

Tails: "You..."

Knuckles: "You kissed the freak?! You only knew him for three days, Sonic! I know I'm gullible, but that was a dumb move."

Tails: "Hey, it's not his fault he kissed the guy. He was running off of what he felt was right. It's just... now, his decision was in vein."

I felt all sorts of emotions start to explode in me. Denial was one, love was another... but fear, was the one that showed through all of them. I could feel my paws shaking as I looked at Tails and Knuckles. They were both arguing about my dumb decisions. I felt guilty for bringing such a thing to our living space. It wasn't hard to feel my body wanting to collapse. I was tired, and the anxiety was building. I just wanted to rest... but that wasn't going to happen for a while. Once again, my thoughts paused to hear Knuckles new statements.
