"Daddy!" I smiled contagiously when I saw my Father walk into the room. Joe moved out of the way and my dad wrapped his arms around me. I cringed in pain as he pulled away, but didn't let him see. My mom then hugged me as well as my brother.

When I had woken up it was almost like I knew what was going on. For some odd reason I knew my fiance wasn't here, and I knew my baby was alive. It was weird and confusing. I spent a few minutes with my family then decided it was time for me to meet my daughter. My family went back to the waiting room to fill in everyone else who was waiting. And even though I had a lack of energy, and Joe basically hand to pick me up and set me in my wheel chair, I knew I had to see my daugher. I needed to meet my Scarlette angel.

Joe rolled me into the room with the tiniest little babies, ever. No crying though. Just sleqeping, and fighting to be... Breathing! Little premature babies in the NICU with such big futures and they were fighting to be alive! The thought nearly made my stomach turn. "Good morning, Miss Taylor." The nurse was in Winnie The Pooh Scrubs and smiled as she turned around, pulling out her hands from the circles in one of many containers for the littles. "Your little girl over here is quite the fighter. She's doing really well!"

I nodded and smiled as I felt my eyes start to glaze with tears. "That's great to hear."

Joe wheeled me closer to my baby's plastic bed. I started to cry as soon as I saw her. Happy tears non the less. She was so tiny and so perfect. Her little nose sat perfectly round and her little pink lips. "She looks just like you, Tay." Joe said.

The nurse knelt down and her smile seemed to be more contagious than any other. That's what I needed right now. "Did you fill out the birth certificate for your little one?"

I looked at Joe, still unsure of what had been done, how long I've been here and who all was in the waiting room. "No we haven't." Joe stepped in.

"I'll go get that for you." She replied, "I'll be back in a flash." Sure enough, before I could blink, she was handing my the pen and paper, but I was much too shaky.

"Would you mind?" I asked, "I don't know if they'll be able to read my writing."

Joe chuckled and kissed my forehead, knealing down with the clipboard. "Mother: Taylor Alison Swift." Joe mumbled this to himself. "Father..." Joe rang out the word and before he wrote anything, I stopped him.

"Joe." I stepped in with a mere sigh. "She's yours too. And I'm not prepared to take her away from you. Just because we're not together, doesn't mean I should hold this against you and take away all rights."

He stared at me for a minute. "What are you saying."

"I'm saying she's ours."

"Are you sure about this?" He asked, staring into my eyes. I nodded and he resumed with a slight smile, jotting down his own name with pride. "Name?"

"Scarlette." I said then spelling it out for him. "Scarlette, s-c-a-r-l-e-t-t-e... Is that okay with you?"

"That's really pretty." Joe assured me with another smile, the one that never faded.

"Thanks. Then the middle name is j-a-y..."

Joe's face lit up when he looked up at me from the clip board. "Really?" He asked.

I nodded my head, "we've talked about it, Taylor and I. He seems to have liked the name."

"What do I put as the last name?"

I hesitated. "When Tay and I get married, there will have to be a new set of papers saying he is becoming her legal gaurdian..."

"So, what do we put for right now? Swift?" I shook my head. "Then what?"
