"Sapphire, you've had this thing inside of you this entire time?" Ruby asked in shock."Since the Seafloor Cavern, yes, but I didn't want it though," I said as I put my glove back on before I turned to Zinnia,"How are we going to get the Jade Orb to Rayquaza now?"
"You'll probably just have to touch your hand to Rayquaza or something like that."
"But, that's almost impossible if it's going to go after her," Steven noted.
"True, and even if she were to get to Rayquaza without getting hurt. Well..."
"Well...? What is it?" Ruby asked.
"The Jade Orb has a lot of energy inside of it so that means..."
"Means, what?" I asked.
"You could possibly die from the transfer of powerful energy from your body to Rayquaza's body..."
"WHAT?!"
It felt like I was punched in the stomach. I thought that the Jade Orb inside of my was bad enough but now the possibility of me dying just to get it out of me and into Rayquaza just made a huge lump form in my throat. I felt like I was going to cry but no tears formed. I didn't want to speak either since it would probably hurt. All I could do until it disappeared was to say nothing.
"So there's a possibility that she could live then?" Latios asked.
"Possibly but it's not likely. Tell me Latios, what happened when Sapphire absorbed the Jade Orb, since it doesn't look like she'll be able to speak right now," Zinnia asked.
"It started to glow and then it flew at her. It hurt her but not much."
"See what I mean? If that thing's energy hurt when it goes inside a human just think at how much more damage it could do if it were to be transferred to a Pokemon as powerful as Rayqua-"
The tower then shook as Rayquaza roared from above,"Well speak of the devil. Hunter, Skyler, Aster! Go support Striker and Flower!"
Her three Pokemon, Mightyena, Altaria, and Whismur, nodded their heads and they all ran up the stairs.
"It doesn't look like they can stall for much longer up there. We're going to have to go soon before Rayquaza destroys the tower and chases after Sapphire, since she does have the Jade Orb."
"Why is Rayquaza even awake to begin with?" Ruby asked.
"Well, it must've sensed Kyogre and Groudon transform into their Primal forms because as soon as I saw them transform I heard a roar so I flew here as soon as I could. Thankfully, I was able to rescue this reckless disgrace of a Pokemon League Champion here," Zinnia sighed before she glared at Steven who looked very embarrassed.
I looked at Steven in shock,"Wait! Y-you're the Pokemon League Champion?!"
He didn't make eye contact and looked away from me,"Yes, I am...I didn't want to tell you because..."
"Why?!"
He said nothing as he stared down at the floor so Zinnia spoke up,"I bet it's something like this: It's because he cares for you and he knows that it would probably make you change your mind about taking on the Pokemon League Challenge if you knew. Or something like that."
I could see Steven's face turning red, not just from embarrassment, but from anger as well.
"Sapphire? Can I talk to you for a second, alone?" He said harshly as he glared at Zinnia.
"Hey! Now what did I do?"
"You don't seem to get the message, do you?" Ruby asked as he jabbed her playfully with his elbow,"Just let them be and leave them alone."
