Sorry for not writing in a while, so blame school. With the comfirmed remakes of Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire known as Omega Ruby and Aplha Sapphire, they've made me get my mojo back for writing again. Trust me, it should be back. I've been gone waaaay too long, but since I'm almost out of school for the summer, like a few more weeks, and I should be back, hopefully. Well, time to revise and get on with the story. Enjoy my loyal readers! ^.^

I felt the warm early morning sunlight dapple through the leaves of the trees and a nice cool breeze on my face. I opened my eyes and remembered that I'd fallen asleep in a tree with Kipz sleeping on my shoulder. I checked the PokeNav as Kipz stirred awake and it said that it was 7:35 a.m. It was going to take a bit to get to Rustboro city, much less the outskirts of it so I might as well start heading there right now. I climbed down the tree and started to make my way to Rustboro City. It didn't take me long to reach the outskirts where there were a few shops around and a few piers with a few boats docked along with a few houses too. The road was long so my Pokemon and I were able to get in a bit of training, especially Kipz who I was planing to use in the Rustboro Gym because they had rock types there and Kipz was probably going to be my only hope. Crimson could do alright and Paige could stand a bit of a chance but Kipz was going to be just fine because we all believed in him.
When we finally reached the bustling city of Rustboro I was amazed at how big the city was compared to Petalburg, then again, the farthest I'd ever been from home was Petalburg when my dad took me there so I could watch his gym battles for two weeks strait which was B-O-R-I-N-G because he flattened them ALL!
"Hey Sapphire? What's the Gym Leader like?" Kipz asked.
"Well, she's supposed to be a teacher and the Trainer's School that she teaches at is part of the gym."
"Wow! Then she must be really smart, which would make her really tough, right?"
"Not exactly. Knowledge isn't power but power is knowledge."
"Uh what? I don't understand?"
"Neither do I, but it's something my dad always used to say."
"Ohhhhhhh...Okay. So changing the subject a bit, where's this gym?"
"I think its just down here," I said as I turned a corner, and I was right.
The gym stood tall and big, so it seemed to have enough for both a school and a gym. The entrance had handles in the shapes of Pikachu and there were wooden carvings of many Pokemon on the doors as well. Castform, Geodude, Onix, Eevee, Skitty, and many more that I couldn't name off the top of my head, but they were so awesome! And there were even a few small stones embedded into it as well! As I was studying the designs I heard someone walking on the pavement and turned to see a little girl with long brown hair and a big red bow on the back of her head.
"Um, excuse me? Are you a challenger?" she said with a very confident and authorative voice.
"Yes, how'd ya know?"
"It's obvious since you have your own Pokemon. If you want to see the gym leader I can take you to her."
"Well shouldn't you be in class?"
"I was running late so I have to report to her. Now follow me!"
"She seems to be quite the person," Kipz mumbled.
I had to agree, but I guess every little kid was different. She opened the big doors with no struggle and we followed her through the long winding hallways of the school. It seemed to be more of a maze but it was still a school because there were classes in session and there were some students wandering the hallways with textbooks and small slips of paper. It wasn't much longer until we reached an office that was at the end of one hallway. The little girl entered and motioned me to follow, so I did. The office was big but cramped with shelves of books and a desk pilled high with papers. There was a young woman with brown hair with pink hair ribbons, some reading glasses on her head, a blue shirt, pink pants, and blue and pink shoes running around trying to organize the office with a Geodude chasing after her holing a stack of books over his head.
