Just to let you guys know, I try and type all of these stories at once right after I finish so many chapters of writing them. And the reason is so I don't forget, hopefully, and so I don't have to do it right away and its also so I'm more organized. lol XD Oh, and sorry if this is a short chapter, the next one should be longer.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I gazed at the sky as night was starting to fall and the lights of Petalburg City were starting to turn on. Since it was almost night my dad would probably be at his Gym and not anywhere else in the city. But I played it safe and avoided the main roads.

"Sapphire, please stop running so fast!" barked Crimson who was carrying Cassie on her back.

"Sorry, I just want to get out of this city as fast as possible," I said.

"Okay, but will we still stop at the next route and rest until morning?" Cassie asked.

"Yes we will, I promise."

I started running again with Paige and Kipz on my shoulders and Crimson, with Cassie on her back, running behind us. We eventually reached the outskirts of the city and eventually made it to the next route. I found a sign that read,"Route 104-Steer clear of the cliffs during storm season."

"Well that's a very strange warning," I said.

"Strange or not! Let's just get some sleep," Crimson said.

"Well if you want to sleep I'll put you and Cassie back in your Poke Balls," I said.

"And me too," said Paige.

"Alright, what about you Kipz?" I asked him.

"Nah, I'll stay on your shoulder," he insisted.

"Well its settled then."

I returned everyone, except Kipz, back to their Poke Balls and kept going along the route. It went along a cliff but there wasn't any dark clouds, only a pretty red sun touching the beautiful blue ocean. And there were really no other words to describe it except that it was beautiful and that it was going to be a clear day tomorrow. We continued walking along the path until it led inside a dense forest, possibly Petalburg Woods, and I could see lights floating about. When I got closer and I realized that they were Volbeat and Illumise, from what the Pokedex said, and it looked like the Volbeat were doing their courtship dance for the Volbeat. Then I heard a rustling from the bushes and a kid came stumbling out of them. He had green hair and didn't look that much younger than me.

"Hey! What're you doing out here this late," I asked.

He looked up with a surprised look.

"I should ask you the same thing," he replied just before he broke into a fit of coughs.

"I was going to go find a place to sleep. What about you?"

"I've been trying to catch a Pokemon because I don't have any."

Idiot! Didn't he know it was dangerous to catch a Pokemon without a Pokemon?! Well, since I was here I decided to help.

"Well, if you're trying to catch a Pokemon, you can have one of mine so you can catch one yourself."

"I can have one of yours?"

"Yes, I think you should."

"Um, okay.

"Oh, and I'm Sapphire and this is Kipz," I said introducing ourselves to the kid.

"I'm Wally," he started coughing again then he stopped,"and I want a Pokemon so I'm not so lonely when my parents send me to a hospital in Verdanturf Town that can help with my cough."

"Well I'm happy to help and so is Cassie," I said sending her out.

I handed her Poke Ball to Wally and went on ahead.

"So what Pokemon do you want to catch?" I asked.

He walked over right next to me and pointed out a Pokemon sitting on a low branch of a tree. It was blue with white fluffy wings so I checked the Pokedex to see that it was called a Swablu.

"Wow, you have a Pokedex. That's so cool!"

"Thanks. So you want to catch that Swablu?"

"Yeah."

"Alright, now try giving Cassie one of these commands," I said holding the Pokedex in front of him.

"Um, okay...Cassie! Use Confusion!"

Cassie's eyes and horns glowed and sent the Swablu flying. It came flying back at top speed and I handed Wally the Pokedex just before Swablu started attacking vith a fast attack.

"It's using Fury Attack! Wally! Have Cassie use a move to stop it!"

"Okay! Cassie, use Thunder Wave!"

Cassie shot out electricity from her horns and Swablu's body glowed reflecting the Thunder Wave away from it.

"Its protecting itself with Safegaurd!" I exclaimed.

"Okay, then we'll attack! Cassie, use Confusion!"

Cassie's eyes and horns started glowing again and fired off her psychic attack again. It hit Swablu and he fell to the ground exhaused.

"Now's your chance," I said tossing a Poke Ball at Wally.

He caught it and threw it at Swablu. Just before it hit the Pokemon it smashed it with a Steel Wing attack. I handed another Poke Ball to Wally so he could try again. He threw it and Swablu tried smashing it again but collapsed on the ground before it even got the chance. The Poke Ball opened and a red light sucked Swablu inside. It shook on the ground a few times until it stopped, meaning that Swablu was caught.

"I did it! I caught my own Pokemon! Thank you Sapphire!" Wally exclaimed.

"It was nothing," I said and Kipz nodded in agreement.

Cassie handed Swablu's Poke Ball to Wally and then Wally handed my Pokedex back to me.

"Are you sure I can have Cassie?" Wally asked.

"Yes, she really wants to be with you Wally. See her horns glowing, that means that she's happy," I said pointing to her.

Cassie's horns were glowing and I could tell that she really wanted to go with Wally.

"I'm sorry Sapphire, but I think it'd be best that I help Wally," she said.

I nodded my head and then Wally returned her to her Poke Ball.

"Well, I should go home before my parents worry a lot. Where are you going Sapphire?" Wally asked.

"I'm going to, I think it's Rustboro City," I said sounding unsure.

"Well, if you're going to be traveling, I think you should have this," Wally said handing me a device of some sort.

"Its a PokeNav and I think you should have it since you helped me catch my Swablu, Fluffy."

"Wally, you don't have to-"

"No, just take it. I don't need it."

"Okay, well, we should go."

"Yup, and next time we meet, I'll give you a Pokemon. I promise," he said.

"Okay, bye Wally."

"Bye Sapphire," Wally said running off in the opposite direction I was heading in.

I checked the Pokenav and it showed that we were almost out of Petalburg Woods. It also showed that it was still a long ways away from Rustboro City and that the outskirts of it were really huge since this city was supposed to be one of the biggest in Hoenn.

"I think we should hit the hay, what do ya think Kipz."

He just nodded his head sleepily because it was pretty late. I yawned and looked for a place to sleep. I found a low, sturdy branch in a tree and climbed up and sat in the crook of it. I checked the Pokenav one last time and it said that it was half a mile away until we would reach the outskirts of Rustboro and another five miles until the actual city. I turned it off, closed my eyes and let sleep take over me.
