Epicness! I really don't know if that's a real word, but I don't really care. Oh, and the character who will be in this chapter is from the manga so I take no credit and there really isn't much known, you could say, about them so I'll do my best. And if you don't know who the character is when you read this chapter then look it up. Well, enjoy! ^.^

I woke up the next morning to hear some sort of commotion from the townspeople so I shook Sparkzette awake and climbed down the tree with her sitting on my shoulder. There was a group of people crowding around so we went over to check out what was going on. When we got closer I saw Flannery, her grandma, and a few other people and they were all talking about something. I walked over to Flannery, who was with a fox like Pokemon that was mostly orange, and I tapped her on the shoulder.
"Oh, hey Sapphire!" she said when she turned around,"What do you think of my Vulpix?"
"Uh, not now. What's going on here?" I asked changing the subject.
"What's going on here? What's going on here is that tourists have been complaining that they can't go on the Cable Car up to Mt Chimney," and older man said.
"Yeah, and its because of these thugs!" a young lady said enraged.
"Could someone describe them?" I asked.
"They wear red and black and they also have hoods," an old man said.
Red, black, hoods...it was Team Magma!
"Where did you say they were? Mt Chimney?"
"Yes, why? Do you know who they are?" Flannery's grandma asked.
"I sure do. They're called Team Magma and if they're up to no good then I should go deal with them."
"You?!" Flannery exclaimed, "But, shouldn't you-"
"Stay away from them?" I said finishing her sentence,"No, I shouldn't. I've dealt with them before so I should go since I have experience battling them."
Before Flannery could answer the crowd went into an uproar.
"She shouldn't go!"
"She's just a kid."
"She doesn't look experienced enough."
"Flannery should do it instead!"
"QUIET!"
Everyone turned to Flannery's grandmother to listen to what she had to say.
"I think Sapphire is very experienced. She just beat my grandaughter, Flannery, and if what she says is true about her having experience fighting Team Magma then I agree that she should go."
The crowd muttered a bit and then dispersed.
"Is that an answer?" I asked.
"They'll think about, but you should go Sapphire," Flannery's grandma said.
"Yeah, I agree. When you said you fought them before then I just had to agree," Flannery said.
"Heh, thanks. Well, I guess we should go Sparkzette," I said.
"Yes! Let's go and stop Team Magma!"
I waved goodbye to Flannery and her grandma and left Lavaridge Town. We went over to the ledge that I had climbed up yesterday and saw where the Cable Car was. There were a few red and black hooded people there so it just had to be Team Magma for sure. There was only one other way up Mt Chimney and that was the Jagged Pass. It was hidden in a forest but it was supposed to be easy to find. The hard part was climbing up it since it was really steep and there were small steep ledges scatter all around it so it was going to be tough.
