It was another day but we eventually reached Fourtree City. This place was amazing. All of the houses were up in the branches of the trees and there were even rope bridges connecting one platform that a house was on to another. The trees were also thick so it was like living in a forest, especially since there were Pokemon living here too, so it was the perfect place where humans and Pokemon could live together peacefully. Although, there was one problem. Where was the Gym located in this place? Then I saw the huge tree right in the middle of it all and I realized that the Gym would probably get to it. Now I just had to navigate my way through the trees.
"Hey Sapphire!"
The voice snapped me out of my thoughts and I looked up to see that it was Ruby and Kiki. They were running towards Kipz and I so we went to greet them.
"Its been a while, hasn't it," I said.
"Yup, it sure has. How many badges have you got?"
"Five, I defeated my dad."
"Y-you did?! Well, I geuss I have some catching up to do then."
"What do you mean?"
He took a silver case out of his bag and opened it to reveal the Stone Badge, Dynamo Badge, and Heat Badge.
"Wow, so you're collecting Gym Badges too now. What about your ribbons?"
He faked a cough and then noticed something.
"Hey! So Steven did find you after all! He gave me a Pokegear too!" he said gabbing it out of his bag.
It was red and white so similar to mine except red instead of blue.
"What about your ribbons?" I asked since he was in denile about it.
"Uh...well...we can't get past the Master Rank so we're taking a break. Also, we were about to head to Dewford since we can't win the Feather Badge from the Gym Leader here."
"Oh. Are they really that tough?"
"Yes. Very tough, but I'm sure you'll win. Changing the subject, how about we show off our Pokemon to see how far we've progressed."
"I meant the Master Rank you idiot. I know that all Gym Leaders are tough but sure. We can show off our Pokemon."
We each sent out all of our Pokemon and I was impressed just as Ruby was with me. He had Leaf, who was a Sceptile now, Minus, Mimi, Kiki, and Sonic who was a Vibrava.
"Sapphire, where's Paige?"
"Oh, well I gave her to my dad to give to my mom since Cassidy is leaving the house more often to help your dad with his research."
"Alright. Well, I'll see you later since I'm sure you'll want to get to your Gym battle," he said returning all of his Pokemon back to their Poke Balls.
"Yeah, speaking of the Gym. Is it at that huge tree over there?" I asked pointing to it.
"Yup. Oh, I almost forgot. Let's register each other in our Pokegears."
I nodded my head and we did it quickly in a flash.
"Okay, thanks!" I said running off.
"No problem!" he yelled back.
