Aemond and Rhenys were together every day. Since that promise of marriage that the children had made, they both became inseparable. It was no longer a surprise for anyone in the family but this did make the rumors spread quickly:

"Prince Aemond and Princess Rhenys are very close."

"It is not proper for a prince and a princess to be so close without being engaged."

"If they don't stop them, the Princess will soon be with a child."

People of the cord did not care that they were children, small and innocent who did not take into account anything of the perversions that the adults had in mind.

Aemond and Rhenys liked to walk through the gardens, sit in the arcino, read together in the library, sneak into kitchens to steal cake, and do endless activities, all innocent.

The rumors soon reached the ears of Queen Alicent and Princess Rhaenyra, who no matter how much they hated each other, came together to defend their children and make it very clear that if someone dared to spread a slander that stained the name of Aemond and Rhenys and that questioned the virtue of the Princess they would be punished and would have to surrender their tongue as a result.

People trembled with fear when they saw the Queen and the Princess united for a cause and very determined to keep their word.

"Mother," Rhenys called Rhaenyra.

"Yes, my girl," she said while eating some sweets, the cravings had started very early in this pregnancy.

- How do you feel? How is my little sister?

- I'm fine, my girl, and we still don't know if it will be a boy or a girl, Rhenys.

- It will be a girl, it will be called Visenya.

Rhaenyra smiled remembering that one day those were her words to her mother Aemma. During all these years, his mother's memory persisted.

- What if it's not a girl? Are you still going to love him?

- Yes, if it is to be a boy, but I would like it to be a girl, there are already many boys in the family, it's time for me to have my sister now.

Rhaenyra giggled.

- We'll see the day of the birth.

"I've been thinking, mother." Rhaenyra saw her daughter carefully who was playing with her fingers. "Lady Katia got engaged today.

- Yes, I heard that, her father united her with a gentleman from the Hayford house.

- She didn't look very happy.

- Unfortunately, not many women have the option of choosing who to marry.

- Did you choose father?

Rhaenyra thought about how to explain it to her daughter, she had not chosen Laenor but technically yes, Laenor was not with whom she looked married, no, she looked to Mary her uncle, Prince Daemon, but her father did not allow it, but she did give her the choice of choosing who to marry, and she ended up married to Leanor and in love with Ser Harwin and with three children with him.

And her uncle Daemon ended up married to Lady Laena and two twins and had heard that she was only a few months pregnant.

- As a princess I was given the option to choose, an event was organized with many lords and I had the opportunity to choose between them.

- So you loved my father and that's why you chose him?

- I loved your father, he is a good man and he has been the best husband he could have been.
