Alex got around the next corner of the hedgerow and only saw some shadow dissapear behind the next corner.
Somehow he had to smile to himself while he speeded up a little to catch her in the end.
It was getting darker and also a bit chilly and this whole atmosphere reminded him incredibly much of the evening they had spent on the playground on the day they met.One more corner, one more step, and Alex found himself in the middle of the whole labyrith.
There was a pavilion made of stone and with some iron parts in the middle of the place, flowers around it and with stairs to enter it.Alex looked around and listened carefully. He heard no steps, no shoes on the gravel, so that meant that she must be there as well, hiding somewhere.
His first guess was that she was hiding behind the pavilion, so very slowly and quietly he made his way to the middle of the place, he only heard the stones under his own feet.A light shower of excitement was rushing down her back when she heard his footsteps getting near her, step by step.
She held her breath for a moment to hear him better, but he was good in tiptoeing towards her and wasn't making much noise.
Abby stood with her back against the stone wall of the pavilion, the best place to hide, and waited in the darkness for her prince to find her.
In this moment some silent but warm tears were beginning to fill her eyes, because she loved Alex so much and also because she knew she could never be happy again without him, as silly and loveblind it sounded, he simply became so essential for her well being.
When she was younger she said to herself that she would never want to make her life depend on any other person, that she herself would be enough, but that proofed wrong in the second she met Alex.
Yes, she could be happy on her own, but something would be missing.
It wasn't that he was flawless, and indeed they had their arguments, but all in all she would not want to live without him.She surpressed the tears, she did not want Alex to find an emotional mess and she did not want him to worry, because there was nothing to worry, just simply herself being a little too emotional.
Abby still wasn't really good in handling happiness, especially her own.
She was just afraid all the time, that something could happen and destroy that happy feeling.
Alex knew that she had those problems, that she could panic easily and that she had those days when she hardly got up from her bed.
But he saw it as his job to make her feel better, he was the one to always make her smile again, and he did the best job possible.
"See, I told you I'll always find you" Alex whispered into her ear ans he stepped behind the corner of the pavilion and kissed her neck, then put his arms around her and leaned his forehead against her neck for a moment, she smelled like a field of flowers before night was about to come, he thought, he loved that image, her, standing in a flowerfield.
Alex took her hand and turned her around, she smiled and kissed him on his lips, longer and more passionate than she would have if people were around.
She pressed him slightly against the wall of the pavilion and clawed one hand softly into his hair."Indeed, you always find me, no matter how lost i am" she said and simply kissed him again.
The kiss began to develop, more intimate, less time to take deep breaths, both tongues moving in sync while the night began to lay over everything."I want you, now" Abby whispered in a small break and looked into his eyes.
Only a few dim lanterns around the pavilion gave a bit of light, but she still saw the look on his face.Alex bit his bottom lip for a moment, before he lifted her up and pressed her hard against the wall with his own body.
Abby put her legs tight around his hip, closing her eyes in pleasure when he pulled down here panties and put her dress up, opening his belt.~
Suddenly Alex felt the first drops of rain together with a loud thunder, rolling over the whole land.
He looked at Abby, her ponytail was quite messy, her lips slightly parted, her fingers still clawed into his shirt while he was keeping the strong pace, having his hands on the downside of her tights. He raised one eyebrow, then looked up to the stronger getting rain, starting to hit them.
Abby put one hand on the back of his head, then kissed him hard, biting his lip.
And Alex understood, she had no intention at all to stop because of some wet clothes. The rain became heavy and soon both were wet to their bones and together with the strong and loud thunders both reached their climax.
Alex took a moment to admire her wet and beautiful face, the rain dropping from her hair, just like his.
He carefully let her down again and Abby hugged him softly and leaned her forehead against his, the water running down their faces.
Alex closed his eyes, then reached gently to her lips, kissing her slow and carefully, a contrast to the rough sex they just had.She smiled at him and put the wet strands of hair out of his face.
he had started to grow his hair longer and she always said that he will look like Humbug-Alex again, which always made him smile.
"I love you" she whispered and took a moment to lean against his chest, his shirt already sticking to his body from all the rain.Alex closed his belt again, then took her hand and lead her inside the pavilion, the rain was hitting the roof and it sounded ten times louder than outside, but they felt save inside it.
Abby was wringing out the water from her ponytail and gave him a cheeky smile "Somehow we have a thing for hiding at weddings, hm? Even though when we like the people there"
Alex leaned against a column, arms crossed over his chest and hummed in agreement while watching her, trying to get her hair back into some shape.
He felt the small box in his inside breast pocket and instantly felt how his heart began to speed up while she was still fighting with her wet hair.
Alex took a deep breath, he knew he would do the right thing, he knew her answer, or at least he hoped to know it.
He got a exciting feeling rushing through him, this was the right moment, it was perfect, everything, the rain, the thunderstorm outside.
She was perfect. In the next split second he decided it, he would do it, no turning back, no postponing, no waiting for a 'better' moment.
This moment was now.___
