"Can't sleep?"
Alex shoke his head softly and stroke down her spine with his indexfinger.

"Me neither" she said and turned on her back so she was facing the ceiling, like Alex did. "Is that your usual habit?" he asked while putting his arm around her shoulders so she could rest her head on his arm.

She shrugged "I guess you could call it like that" Alex turned his face towards her "Same here...I'm sometimes so tired, I even fall asleep during the breaks in the studio...but at night I simply can't sleep longer than some hours"
"How good that we're not alone then...aaaaand I remember a certain someone wanted to watch some drugs-show before we got interrupted the other night" she said and made him smile even wider.

"Really? You want to watch it? Now?" She shrugged again "I dunno...I can't sleep anyways..so...why not?"
Alex laughed quietly and sat up slowely "Alright then" he smiled and turned on the light next to him.

She streached herself and yawned demostrately, then rolled herself partly on him, her arms and legs still streached out, then rested on him like a bag of potatos, not moving one bit.

"Can I admit, I did not think you were so cuddely when I met you at the wedding" he said smiling and stroke over her head. "Pfff...you don't even know me" she mumbled against his warm neck
 "Maybe I want to"
"Hmm..maybe I would want that too" she said and rolled completely over him and off him. The bad was gigantic enough for probably five people so it was perfectly to just move around and streach out.

Alex smiled at her and stroke softly over her cheek as he climbed over her to get his laptop from the livingroom so they could watch the show.

"And? How did you-" but Alex stopped in the middle of his sentence when he noticed that her head was laying heavy on his shoulder and that she wasn't moving, only breathing calm against his neck. They were sitting against the headpiece of the bed, cuddled in the blankets and the laptop on his legs. Alex had to smile bright as he closed it and put it on the table next to him. He was moving carefully so she wouldn't wake up.

He looked at the sleeping woman next to him.  It was about five o'clock., he sighed quietly. This all was too surreal, he thought. It couldn't be possible that he would spend more nights like that with her in the future. Even though she had said that she would want to see him again after this, he simply couldn't believe that a woman like her would want a guy like him.

Things like that have never worked out for him and he had always managed to screw things up. He knew one thing, that she was not ordinary and that he would hate himself for ever if he would be the reason for a failure.

He made her lay down carefully, but she didn't even wake up. She looked so peaceful, he thought. A sleeping beauty indeed. This whole thing felt too good, like the type of good that would soon break into bits and pieces. In his life those good moments never lasted long enough, always something had happened that destroyed his happiness. Of course he would never talk about that with anyone, but he felt lonely after Alexa had left, like she had taken something with her, his heart. And now, during the past days, since he knew Abby, it felt like he was becoming whole again.

Of course he was worried and afraid he could expect too much already. Maybe she only wanted to have him for that night, but on the other hand, she was no such woman. He did not have to pretend to be the Rockstar when she was around, and it seemed that she liked who he was in private.

He tried to ban those bad thoughts from his head and simply turned off the light again and laid down next to her, softly putting his arms arond her and closing his eyes. He wished this night wouldn't end, he felt good in a long time.
