She bit her lip, not to smile bright and let the other two monkeys around her know how much she liked what Alex did. Dedicating this song to her and not the bride was a sort of 'rebelion' against this event. Matt also told her whenAlex got in the front to sing, that Nora never mentioned one words about performing at the wedding, that they simply came as normal boring guests. Alex's action probably made her more unpopular than she allready was, but she really didn't care. All she could concentrate on was this song, his voice and the fact that he was 'on her side'. She glanced at the table where her aunt sat, she could see how much this woman was raging. Now the popular good looking bandguy that Nora was probably hyped about the whole time, that she could have him singing at her wedding, now did not even mention the bride once and instead sang for her, the black sheep of the family.
Her aunt even looked at her and Abby simply raised her Bloody Mary, she lost count which number, and toasted towards her with a huge satisfied grin on her face.

He looked so calm while he sang, it seemed like all he would need to escape from the dark and cold reality around him was a guitar. And she could exactly see how he escaped, and she wished he would take her with him.
She liked his voice, it was unique and hypnotic, you could listen to him sing all day and you would never get enough of him. She did not get enough of his voice, she wanted to hear more and when he finished the song she could feel how a part of her heart that she never thought would still be alive, melted.
She looked at him the whole time and when he played the last tune and opened his eyes, she cought them, and for one second it felt like the whole world would stop and he would take her hand to get out of it.
He sang one more song, called Piledriverwalz and she did not even try to convince herself that he had no effect on her.
She wanted him to never stop again but sadly he did stop and after getting his well deserved applause, still not mentioning the bride once, because he was simply too pissed about how she had forced him to do this.
Alex got back to his place and sat down next to Abby, he nearly looked shy at her, like he was afraid of what she would say.
"So...Mr. Monkey....seems like you're a music-making Stripper group, do you get paid double for that?"
 "We can't complain!" he smiled.
He sat back down and took the new Margerita she had ordered him while he was away.
"Can I try?" she asked after he took a sip and he noded and handed her his drink.
"Thanks, I havn't had this in years" she smiled and drank from it.
"Hmm..not bad...at least they can mix cocktails here.."
"You should call me when we're back in London, I do the best Margaritas of whole Britain"
"One condition to that: Bring your guitar!"
"No problem with that" he smiled
She noded and took another sip from his drink before handing it back.
"When are you getting back to London?" Matt asked her.
She looked at her men's watch on her arm "My train leaves at eleven so I guess I still have about two hours of this great party to survive, what about you guys?"
"Also taking the train back, but we were not sure when. I mean...we could take the same one, just an idea but, why not" Matt answered.
She shrugged "Sure, that still leaves us with at least two hours passing here..."
"Or-" Alex started and looked around "We could simply leave now without anyone noticing and spend the spare time in some pub" he smiled winning.
Abby bit her lip and smirked "You rebel" she said and stood up "Then get up your pretty monkey butts"
"You mean we should really-" Jamie started but Matt also stood up "Yes, we should, no one really wants us here, so their fault if we're leaving!"
Jamie shrugged, he was actually pretty glad about this idea.
No one was paying attention to them anyways so they managed to get to the hall unnoticed.

"You know what would be awesome now?" Matt looked around "something from this cake!" "Which one?" Abby asked
 "Hm?"
"Which sort of cake? There are a few in the kitchen"
 "That was actually just-"
"That's an awesome idea!" Alex said and smiled at her.
"What will I get if I'll manage to steal cake from the kitchen?"
"free ticket to our next show?" Matt said.
"Who said I like your music?"
 "A kiss from every-"
"Concert ticket is fine!" she interrupted him grinning and left in the direction of the kitchen.

"Tell!" "What?"
"You know what I mean! Did you-"    "No!" Alex protested but Matt only raised his eyebrows "Matt, no! And what if...I mean you're not my mum!"

matt grinned "But nearly! I'm just curious how you two ended up like that" "Like what?"
"Dedicating this song to her and all, what did she do that you-"
"Could you just shut it? Like really! Don't act like I would sleep with every girl who talks to me! We met on coincidence, had some drinks and a nice conversation"
"Ok ok, man relax, it was just a question, she seems like-"
"Like?" Alex raised his eyebrows, he hated it when Matt treated him like his mother did when he was younger.
"Like an interesting young Lady. All I'm saying, don't mess it up, she seems...different from others"
 "Thanks Dr. Lovelife"
