It was just right this moment before their lips could finally touch and taste each other, there was a hectic ring on her door, followed by some knocks.
Abby opened her eyes and sighed, finding Alex smirking at her, but not moving away from her. This can't be true she thought. Who would disturb her at four in the morning.
"I'm gonna kill who ever is that" she said quietly and simply laid her forehead against Alex's shoulder for a moment.
Alex smiled and softly stroke down her spine "Please don't, I don't want to visite you in prison the next time" he said, making her laugh.
It ringed again and she looked at the door, sighed and then got up, she swore, who ever this was, would get to feel her mood.
Alex kept on sitting on the couch and watched how she opened the door and how a she got immediately pulled in for a hug and he could only see a brown hair mane block his fiew.
"Ab, Oh my fucking god, for a second I thought you wouldn't be home! Oh god....you need to help me, I'm dying!! I'll be dead tomrrow, shit, how could Shakespeare even write that shit?! Like seriously!! Please please please, you're my best friend please help me!!! I won't pass the whole class if this test goes wrong tomorrow." Alex could only hear a young woman speak quickly and in a small panic.
Abby freed herself from her friends grip and sighed "Well...you're already in, so..."
 "You're helping me??"
 "What a question! Of course"
"You're the best fucking person on this planet!!" the other one said and had her arms already back around Abby's neck
"Yes...o...ok...please...don't strangle me" Abby said and made the other one laugh. Alex could see that they were good friends.
And he also saw that the other young woman needed her help right now, and that he would only be in the way. He did not want to make it uncomfortable for Abby, so he got up.
"But Abby why are you already awake? Oh god...did  I interru-" she fell silent as soon as she saw Alex walking towards them.
"It's ok, I'll leave you two alone with Shakespeare" he said with a warm smile and greeted th eother woman, it seemed like she had turned into a staue, not able to move or say anything. She slowely looked from Abby to the stranger, a man, she actually knew, she's actually been to concerts and right now she asked herself if she was going insane. This couldn't be true.
Abby noded and gave him an excusing and also explaining look, he understood.
"I'll get your jaket" she said and went to the kitchen , leaving her best friend with Alex alone for some seconds.
Alex smiled friendly at her and noded as to say hello.
But she couldn't even say anything, she was too shocked to meet the Alex Turner in her friend's appartment in the middle of the night. She really doubted her state of mind at that moment.
Abby came back and quickly took Alex by his ellbow and pushed him out of the door, closing it behind them.
"I'm sorry, I had no idea she would show up right now" she said quietly and excusing, but Alex shoke his head "It's alright and it seems as if she really needs your help"
"I'll accompany you down" she said and Alex noded.
Even though her friend had interrupted them at something both wanted, there was no embaressed or uncomfortable mood between them, because they knew, they would defenitely repeat where they got interrupted.
They got down the steps and she opened the right door for him. Alex took on his Jaket and stood in front of her.
"I hope to see you soon again Arctic Stripper" she said and gave him a smile. The street outside was dark and the cold wind was getting inside through the door into the staircase.
She began to freez a little.
"You can count on that Absinthe" he said with a softness in his voice that he probably only allowed because he was a little tired.
She had to smile, because he used her full name like it was a tressure that should only be revealed at certain situations.
Abby stepped foreward, touching his chest with her own and gave him a kiss on his cheek.
"Good luck on the test" he said when she stepped back again and she nodded, the door already about to get closed.
"Thank you Alexander" she said quietly, and he knew she was not only meaning the test.

When she got back to her flat, Samantha still stood there the same way when Abby had left, and stared at her. "Tell me you know who that was" she said quietly, still not quite believing who she just saw.
"Sam, I know, ok. It's no big deal"
"No big- NO BIG DEAL?!?! Shit, Fucking Alex Turner was in your appartment!! That's hell of a big deal!!"
"Sam. He's a guy like everyone else.  just because you have a fangirl crush on him, you don't have to act like that."
"But Abby....it's Alex Turner, singer of the arctic monkeys...shit he's known everywhere! How on earth did he end up here??"
Abby sighed "I thought you came to talk about Shakespeare..." and got to the kitchen to make some coffee.
Sam followed her, still excited, she did not believe that Abby was not caring about the fact that he was famous, but her best friend had always been a great actress in such situations.
Samantha stepped behind Abby who stood in front of her coffee machine. She poked her right side "Tell me!"
She poked her left side after no response "Tell me!!"
Abby sighed and Sam put both her index fingers at her sides and poked her a little harder, making her friend turn around "Ok OK. you won't stop anyways, right?!"
Sam smiled triumphing and suddenly Shakespeare was completely forgotten.
"ok sit down and after I told you I don't want to her anything, ok."
Sam sat down on the table with a straight back an noded eager"
"Fine" Abby sighed, but actually she was glad that she could tell someone about this guy who was really close in stealing her tiny heart.

While Alex walked home she stood on his mind. He imagined how she explained her friend why Alex Turner was in her appartment.
It was obvious that the other girl knew the band or at least him, telling by her reaction.
It was nearly five when he opened the door to his bedroom and fell on the bed, his clothes all on.
Alex couldn't tell what this feeling was that was building. If it was some being atrracted to each other, or if he was actually falling for her in a real way. It was ridicilous, he thought, they only met like a day ago, bt she somehow managed to get through to him in this short  time, something no one ever really managed.
He got up again and opened the window to have a smoke, he didn't mind if it would smell a little like cigarette when he was alone.
He got the pack from his jaket, he was confused because it seemed as if it was empty even though he had bought it on the way to Abby, Alex opened it and for a moment his heart stopped when he took the note that she had obviosuly left in it, after obviously taking out the cigaretts. So that's why she got the jaket from the kitchen, he thought and smiled to himself while opening and reading he note in an artful and beautiful handwriting.

Does this make me a thief now? In case you want to accuse me:

Tomorrow, 5pm, where the master used to play. A.

Alex had to smile brighter, he knew exactly where he would find her tomorrow at 5 pm.
