„Maybe it's better when two take one train compartement here, then we can all sleep a litle more comfortable untill we reach London...I mean it's about three hours and sleep won't do any harm to any of us“ Matt suggested when they entered the nearly empty train.

 „Yeah sure! That's an idea“

„Matt and I will take one“ Jamie announced and poked Matt softly with his ellbow so he wouldn't protest.

Matt grinned a little and nodded „Sure, see you then in London and don't worry Al, it's the last stop, you can't oversleep this time“ he said and followed Jamie in an empty compartment.
"Don't grin like that, I was tired as hell and just didn't notice my stop was allready over"
but Abby kept on grinning at Alex and walked past him, down the corridor to search for an compartment for them.
She found one and waved at him to come. He did so and found her in it, sitting at the window.
He closed the door, now the whole world was shut away from them because there was no window to the corridoor of the train, only the one who allowed them to look out in the darkness.

The compartment was small so when Alex sat down in the seat in front of her, their knees were already touching. He looked at her and she only noded, she knew exactly what he wanted to say. Alex smiled a little and got up, changing seats so now he sat next to her, their arms and shoulders touching now.

Abby took off her heels and put her feet on the seat that Alex was sitting on previously, Alex did the same.
"A shame you don't have a guitar with you..." she said quietly and looked outside on the dark trainstation. "We can catch that up when we're in London..."
She smiled and looked at him "I need your phone number, or I'll never find you!" and so she put out her phone and handed it to him.
Alex-Bandguy was what she wrote in for the name and he should type in his number. Alex had to smile bright by the 'Bandguy'. He really liked her. She was smart, and funny, had the same stupid sense of humor. It seemed like he had waited ages to meet someone like her. The last time he thought he had found someone like that was when he met Alexa, but he really did not want to remember how that had turned out in the end.
He gave her back the phone and looked at her.
"I really want to see you again..."
"Even though you don't even know my full name?" she smiled.
"Even though I don't know it" he also smiled and then dared to put his arm around her shoulders, she let him and laid her head against his arm, closing her eyes.
It was silent for some moments and suddenly the train started moving first slow and soft then quicker. He kept on watching her, she looked so calm and beautiful and the scar that was there from the end of her eyebrow down to the middle of her left cheek, nearly reaching the end of her lip.
Alex was of course curious what had happened that left this scar on her face, but in his eyes it only made her more interesting and even more beautiful.

"Absinthe...that's my name." she said quietly after some time.
Alex had his eyes also closed and opened them now, looking into her green ones.
"Absinthe..." he repeated and she had to smile "Congratiolation Alex, you're like the first person to ever pronounce it right"
Alex laughed quietly and noded "You're name is beautiful, green fairy"
 "Uhh...we have a specialist here...."
"I don't drink it as often a I might should..."  he said and made her smile.    "Maybe I'll take you out and we'll have some real Absinthe"
 "That's no 'postmix-lemonade' name...I'm a little curious"
Abby had to smile "Wonderfully said. Well my father he's let's say a specialist for all sorts of wine, alcohol and so on...he has his own shops and really, he knows every single fucking thing there is to know about alocohol! and because the Absinthe is his most favourite drink and he's always been kind of bewitched by the whole story of it, he named me after it"
"Wow...that's great. I love the idea."
She smiled wider "Yes...he and my mother had a bet going on about my name, she said he can name me like that if he'll manage to start his own company...well...he did as you can see, it was successful ever since"
"Can I confess that I never really drank real good Absinthe?"
"Five years in purgatory for that"
Alex smiled "If you'll join me"
"Oh I think I deserve more than just five years in hellfire..." she said and immediatley got a "I don't believe you" from Alex.
"That's what you think, Alexander" it was the first time she said his full name, and he loved it. He loved hearing it from her, even though he actually allowed no one beside his mother to call him by it.
"I'm honored..." he said after a while.
 "Hm? Why that?"
"Because this day was worth enough to tell me your name."
She had to smile and simply closed her eyes, leaning her head softly against his shoulder while Alex cuddled her a little closer to his body.
"Absinthe" he whispered to himself and felt how she smiled brighter.
"You're as beautiful as your name" he added quietly and felt how she was relaxing more and more and finally fell asleep in his arms.
He couldn't help but also close his eyes, laid his head against the wall behind him and fell asleep as well, with the most bewitching name he had ever heared on his lips.

sorry that it took so long, but you have no idea what week I had! Thanks god it's week-end now!

and yes I googled it, Absinthe is a name, you can name your child like the drink that ruined so many bohemian, belle epoque artists in Paris :D personally i love the  taste of it, only if it's well mixed with sugar and water, otherwise you want to kill yourself after the first sip, but it's not a drink for everyone :)

have a good weekend!! xx
