One the road again, the Journey of the Samadhi Rings was a very long, long drive.

Sandy was brushing out Mo's fur on the second floor, Pigsy was driving with Tang napping in the passenger seat, the scholar tired from a long night of navigating, and both Wukong and Macaque were going over the plan for recovering his ring. Finally, Mei was playing games on her phone.

"On the road again, Just can't wait to get on the road again. The life I love is making music with my friends~" MK sang to herself as she grabs another crayon for her drawing.

"Ooohh, what's you doing MK?" Mei asked walking up to her and picking up some of her drawings.

"Just doodling." MK answered.

Monkey King snatched the drawings from Mei's hand and looked over them. "Looking good bud." Monkey King said as Mei tried to take the drawings back.

"Oh, did you do any of me MK?" Tang asked, waking up from his nap, looking over her shoulder.

"Yeah, they're over there." MK pointed towards the trash can. "I didn't really like how any of them turned out," She shrugged her shoulders. "They just didn't seem...quite 'It' exactly."

Tang went to the trash can and picked up a drawing that didn't look good. He seemed quite saddened by this, lately he's been a little envious of MK's infatuation of Monkey King. Not that he blamed her because, well you know...

But he was great too! He'd just wished she'd see that too.

"Hey guys! Land ho!" Sandy called from the driver seat, Tang folded and tucked away the drawings into an inner pocket of his clothing to keep safe, looked out the front window with the others and saw Lantern City.

Quickly rushing towards the front of the vehicle, they all gaped in awe, looking down from where the van was driving across the hill, Wukong chuckling, "Lantern City...hasn't changed a bit~"

"Okay...maybe it has changed a bit."

Grumbled the copper monkey, standing in a crowded bullet train, disguised as a human sleeps against him with drool coming out of his mouth.

His husband stood in the middle of the train, trying to hold back a laugh, disguised as well. MK stood near the pair, snickering evilly, "Cheer up, we're almost to our destination." She reassured him.

As the train came to a stop, the pair following behind the others as they walked into the center of the city, which was filled with decorations.

The twins happily bounced in delight. Golden eyes sparkling as they reflected the lamplight. "Wow it's so pretty~" Rumble said in awe. Savage caught one of the lanterns before handing it to his sister.

Tang looks at the map then to the city "Hmm, so if this map is correct, the last Ring of Samadhi should be around here somewhere,  I mean, that looks as good a place as any to look for--hey!"

Everyone leaves the train cart and the scholar quickly ran to catch up. The gang headed into the streets full of markets as Monkey King searched around.

"Okay, now I know I threw the ring around here somewhere." Monkey King said, lifting up a basket lid.

"I thought you hid it?" Mei questioned.

"Yeah, by throwing it into the crust of the earth where no one can find it and if they did, Keep up dragon pony girl~" Monkey King cooed, pinching her cheek.
