Summary:
Racing towards the pillar of heaven, and with the fate of the world on her shoulders, MK knows what needs to be done.

Everyone watched as they saw MK run into the Pillar of Heaven. MK felt tears build in her eyes, trying not to look back on her friends and family. Quickly, Macaque screamed, using his shadow ability to free himself from his binds.

Xiangliu screamed in agony, falling to his knees as the room darkened, shadows buzzing along his skin as Macaque pushed MK into a portal, sending the both of them away.

Shadow portals opened, the duo fell outside of the Pillar, landing on the hard grounds of the mountain. "NO! What have you done?!" MK tried to kick off Macaque, only for him to turn her around and pinning her on her stomach. "Let go!"

"Kid, stop! You can't do this!" Macaque told her. She tried to move around the demon but Macaque grabbed her leg and threw her back.

"You don't understand I have to for this!"

"And you think this is the answer, by killing yourself!?"

"What else can I do!? I don't want the world to die, I don't want any of you to die! If I don't do this, everything gets destroyed!" She shoved past him. The warrior grasped onto her arm, "You don't always have to be the hero! It doesn't always need to be you!"

"This is the only way!" MK turned around, getting out of Macaque's grasp.

"You don't know that!" He argued, throwing her a saddened look, "What if you don't save the world, What if all of it was for nothing!? You can't do this..."

"YES...YES SHE CAN..."

Tendrils of orange and black suddenly lashed out, wrapping around Macaque's arms, legs, and neck. Macaque thrashed around angrily, trying to break himself free.

"No!" Mk cried worriedly.

"My Oh My, this is quite the surprise." Xiangliu leaned down, observing the ebony monkey closely. "That was quite the trick you've have primate, Who'd you make a deal with to give you such powers?"

The warrior snarled as he was moved until he was upside down, "What are you talking about?"

Xiangliu hummed, flipping the warrior right-side-up again, "It doesn't matter. It's all gonna be over soon!" He snapped his fingers, summoning the rest of the group. "The Harbinger knows this was what she was made for," Xiangliu taunted, "that this is the only way to save you all! Are you really going to reject her sacrifice?"

Mei agreed, "Yeah! He's telling you to-to do it, so you obviously shouldn't. " She tried to ignore the tears pricking her eyes as the Nine-Headed Demon grinned sharply.

"No. I told you, I'll get out either way." He smirked as Mei let out a screech of anger and tries to bite him but missed. "I have had enough of control. Enough of watching people put themselves in cages." His brief feeling of anger washed away as he turned towards MK, "Watching them push away the chaos, when the chaos is what makes them who they are."

"Kid, no!" The Great Sage shouted.

The Prince Consort of Jisai stepped up to MK, "Child, I am not deceiving you. Sacrifice yourself, don't sacrifice yourself...it is entirely up to you."

"There's gotta be another solution!"

"Look around, the world is dying, remember?" She waved her hands, gesturing to the cracks that kept growing. "I can't just do nothing," she murmured, walking over the ledge.
