Summary:

Things aren't looking good as the Brotherhood overwhelms the Celestial Armies. Desperate to act, Mei leads the charge in a rescue mission.

Mk didn't know how long she was flying but she didn't care, she just had to get away from everyone.

She couldn't believe she attacked Mei liked that, I-It was an accident. She was flapping her wings so fast she can hear, and feel her heart quicken, her vision began to blur. She couldn't think straight as she kept going.

Then...suddenly she finds herself unable to flap anymore; she was falling. She groaned as gave out her final strength as she crashed into a lake, water filling her lungs.

The last thing she sees was a shadowy figure reaching towards her, grabbing her hand.

The mysterious figure gasped for air and swims towards shore with the girl in hand, they press two fingers on her neck checking for a pulse, luckily there was, but faint.

"Goodness." The figure murmured and carried her over their shoulders taking her inside a small shack.

Slowly blinking her eyes open, MK groaned and sat up in a makeshift bed, rubbing her head.

Ugh, her head was killing her.

What happened? All she remembered was she was in the sky, and then she was falling....Wait, MK remembered now! She fell into the ocean. But, who the hell-

"Thank goodness, you're awake." I see your finally up," Turning, depressed teen was faced with none other than, Dr Syntax.

The spider hybrid was sitting by a nearby desk going through some notes in a clipboard, Syntax's hair was tied into a long ponytail, He wore his lab coat with lapels black and lime respectively. He also was wearing his black VR goggles.

Wait, One of Spider Queen's lackey!? But if he's here, then does that mean..?

"You know the whole point of healing, is to not move around so much." A female voice had the teen jumping up, whirling around to face none other than Spider Queen herself.

The Spider Queen's wear consists of a frayed dark purple shirt with grey trimming over a purple skirt and belt, she wore her long ebony hair down--which was covered in white streaks, a purple bow and green comb along with a lime green necklace.

"What's- Where am I- did you-?" Mk stammered, very confused to what's happening right now.

"Sit back down in bed you little buffoon, you're still recovering," Huffing, Syntax dragged MK back to the bed, who was still too weak to fight back, and simply allowed herself to be dragged.

"What's goin on? Why am I here?" She finally spoke.

Spider Queen scoffed, crossing her arms. "Hmph, is that how you give thanks to those who just saved your life? Perhaps I should have left you there to drown."

Wait a minute, she saved her? Why? Why the would the same person who she defeated from almost taking over the world rescue her?

"Um, thanks." MK takes the water that her host was kind enough to offer, and chugging it down in just a few gulps.

"Yeah whatever," The spider demoness grumbled, turning her head. "Now what the hell were you doing out there?"
