Summary:

Pulled from the scroll, the gang find themselves facing a new threat. This time, they are totally outclassed.

Blinking her eyes open, MK looked around and realized she was no longer on Flower Fruit Mountain anymore. MK looked to see herself surrounded by her friends and family--minus Macaque who was passed out who, were glaring at a figure before them.

"Where...where are we? What's going on?" Turning her head, her eyes widened at the sight of Azure Lion, holding the Scroll of Memory in his paw. "Azure? Where's Monkey King?"

"Don't go near him MK," The other female growled, green lighting sparking around her, as her grip on her family's sword tightened. "He's not to be trusted!"

"Wait, wh-what are you...?" The young brunette stammered.

"He's been lying to us this whole time!" Tang slipped into a fighting stance, holding his staff before him. A look of betrayal showed across MK's face, she couldn't possibly believe that the lion would do such a thing.

"I saw it! Here. Wherever this place is. Him! Plotting to take down the Monkey King. That was his plan all along, to trap Monkey King inside that scroll and do something sinister, something bad, probably."

Azure didn't respond right away, making Mei snap, "See?! He's basically admitting it! And to think I modeled my brand new sword after yours! Gross!

"It wasn't my intention to deceive you," Azure began, trying to explain himself. "But I knew you wouldn't understand. Sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness, instead of permission."

"Ooh, okay. Then I hope you won't be upset when I don't ask permission for this!" Suddenly Mei fully launched herself at the lion demon with her sword raised. Only for him to dodge at the last minute, activating the spell in an attempt to trap her.

"Greetings, little girl!" A voice call out with a mocking tone. It was Golden Winged Peng, using their wings to send the jade clad girl flying back into a nearby stone pillar.

"Mei!" MK cried out for her.

Bai-He growled, her auburn eyes burning in anger. "You are so dead turkey!" Shooting forwards, she raised her spiked staff up and went to strike him next, "Ooh, I sense a little spunk in you, little girl." The winged eagle grinned devilishly as they quickly grabbed hold of their spear, striking her.

Splatter!

Bai-He skidded to the ground, screaming in pain while clutching her bleeding face. "Sister!!" The twins cried out worriedly as they rushed over to their injured sister.

"No!!" MK cried out, trying to deescalate the situation, before it got any worse. Even when Tang, Pigsy, and Sandy launched forward to attack, suddenly a large elephant demon comes in and swinging a heavy object into them.

"No Azure!" MK cried, "What are you doing!?"
She tried to get up but her body started glitching again.

"If it isn't the Great Monk Tàng Sanzang,"  The eagle demon cackled, the scholar pinned beneath the eagle demon's talons. "You cannot imagine how I've longed for this moment!"
