As the Monkie Kids escaped from the Celestial Realm, Azure striked and aimed a slash at the palace door, making a hole for them to enter. Azure walked inside, Peng and Yellowtusk followed after. The trio walked inside the golden crack, the inside was like a galaxy with lanterns floating in the air with a ground and a throne.

Large pillars were at the side, with a larger throne at the end, where the Jade Emperor was sitting.

"Your arrival is opportune, Azure. Were my time not already at its end, I doubt you would have stood a chance at overthrowing me. I hope this is not a disappointment."

The Jade Emperor spoke as the three walked closer, he sat still on the throne.

The blue lion growled silently, standing his ground. "I do not care about which means you meet you're demise, old man. Only that the new Jade Emperor is more worthy of the title!" Azure shouted with anger.

The Jade Emperor chuckled dryly. "And I suppose you believe that person is you? How is it that you stand before me today, Azure?" The Jade Emperor replied, his hands gripping the arms of his throne.

The atmosphere was too heavy, that Azure was pinned to the floor with his feet creating a crater.

"Was there a point where you questioned it? Or were you too oblivious with your own delusions to realize you are a mere piece in someone else's game?"

Peng and Yellowtusk glanced at each other as the whole palace started to shake. A piece...Someone else's game?

Was he telling the truth?

The Jade Emperor stood, his large figure towering over the three as he stared at Azure. "You may try, Azure as you wish, the throne will be yours, however if you think I was gifted preached." The Jade Emperor unsheathed his sword, pointing his long weapon at Azure.

"You are mistaken..."

In the end, Azure Lion remained triumphant. The Jade Emperor was dead.

The sky roared with thunder, golden cracks appearing and only widening each second as the fabric of time and space slowly collapsed. Golden strings connected to close the gap, the cracks slowly disappearing.. However, more and more cracks appeared right after.

At the Palace, Azure Lion sat on the throne, with YellowTusk sat beside him, reading a scroll with his reading glasses.

Azure groaned in pain, hands gripping on the armrest as he tried his best to control the power he had stole. A crack suddenly widened, sweat dripping down his face, his teeth gritted.

YellowTusk turned his head slightly to glance at him, his eyebrows furrowing in concern. "Hmm..."

Meanwhile, Down below on Flower Fruit Mountain, the others watch cracks form and disappear in the sky. The gap of the crack lessened, more and more cracks beside that seemed to never disappear.

"At least it's...pretty?" Mei spoke with a nervous smile, gesturing to the sky.

"Oh, sure." Pigsy piped up from her side, "If you ignore the strong end-of-the-world vibes."
