"Previously on Tales of the Monkey Princess..."

"Today was supposed to be a good day. I was having the best time of my life, and now I have to deal with some psycho a** Lion demon wanting to "create a new world"

MK stood there terrified, she was certain that she, the kids and her best friend would've been next if not for the intervention of a lion demon who called himself 'Azure Lion.'

"We are finally finishing our business." Peng sneered.

"No longer will we stand by as the Celestial Realm acts with callous impunity," Yellowtusk reached up toward the sky, "The Jade Emperor must be dethroned."

"Like What the hell!? It's practically Lady Bone Demon all over again!!"

"This pursuit leads to one thing. Pain." Her voice echoed.

"And to top it off, I just found out that I'm technically...not human. I'm a stone Monkey."

A strange burning, tingling sensation covered MK's entire body. Something was shifting and almost...glitching all around her. "Aaugh!!" Screamed in pain, flashed on and off like someone flicking a light switch.

Switching from human to Monkey.

"I...I don't know what came over me, I was just, so mad! I practically hurt my best friend."

MK turned away from all of them, clutching at her arm, "And the most messed up thing is, I-I never even realized, never even questioned who I am, or where I come from, or why, or..." She sobbed as more tears ran down her eyes. "I'm a monster, I'm a monster."

"How can you say that, you're not a—" Mei stepped forward towards MK, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"DON'T TOUCH ME!!" She hollered, throwing her hand back as she glitched from her human to monkey form again. "Aah!" Mei skidded back to the ground, groaning, she placed a hand on her cheek--feeling blood dripping down her the fresh scratches on her face.

MK gasped, eyes widened in horror as she stared at her hand, which had her blood on it and back at Mei.

"And now Monkey King is trapped within his scroll: sliced in the middle, The Celestial Realm's been taken over by the Brotherhood. Think it can't get any worse? Try me."
