To say that Abby was excited to see what the moms had come up with was an understatement. These women who loved to critique her choreography were seeing just how difficult her job truly was. Even better because now she didn't have to deal with them for a whole week! But now was the part she was most excited for: the moms showing her their routines.

|| I just know that these moms aren't prepared for me to see these duets! || - Abby Lee Miller

All the dancers were standing in the hallway, waiting for Abby to call them in, because it would be too nice just to have to show Abby, they also had to show everyone else! None of the kids looked happy to be there. None of them were. But they knew that they had the easy job, they just had to perform the dance, while their moms actually had to talk to Abby and defend the dance.

|| Is our dance gonna be great? Probably not but I think it'll be better than everyone else's! || - GiaNina Paolantonio

Finally, everyone was called into the studio, and sat in front of the mirror, ready to watch the madness occur. Fear was evident on everyone's faces, except, of course, Joanne's. Joanne looked as though she was almost excited to be there. So with backs pressed against the mirror, one could smell the fear that permeated the area.

Abby's eyes scrolled up and down the line of kids and mothers, enjoying the way they all squirmed and tried to escape her watchful gaze. It was in that moment that she decided that she would make this as painful as possible for them. Just so she could watch them squirm more! With a deep breath Abby started, "Now, this is just a progress check! I want to see what you've done, and possibly give some help," The tension in everyone's shoulder dropped. Of course she didn't want them to fail! It was her name they were dancing under!

"However, if I don't like what I see, I'm taking away you duet!" The room was in a shocked silence. They didn't think it would go there. They thought that she would just take over and fix it so the dance was up to her standard. She was a control freak! But no, she would just cut them. She would cut them with no group dance to fall back onto. They would have nothing.

|| That's just not fair! She can't just take away all of our hard work! || - Ann Colin

|| Am I shocked? A little. Should be though, I mean, this is Abby we're talking about! || - Sandy Hatchet

|| Contrary to popular belief I am not a complete monster. I don't want to take anyone's dance away, but I'm not letting some mother ruin my reputation! || - Abby Lee Miller

Now that the stakes were raised, Abby was ready to start. So to put the pressure on, she picked the duet she thought would look best. Amelia and Max. She had seen the choreography that their old studio had given them, and they managed to make it look beautiful, which gave Abby the confidence that whatever they did now couldn't be too awful.

And she was right. Abby didn't know how Sandy did it. The dance was detailed and intricate, it had sharp movements mixed with a compelling story. Sure, the difficulty wasn't there, but that dance itself was stunning. That was until they got to a part about halfway through, where they were dancing without looking at each other and they collided. But they just laughed it off! They had just learnt their dance, it wasn't the end of the world.

|| That could have gone worse! || - Amelia Hatchet

The other mothers were now very worried. They were not prepared for Sandy to do that. That was impressive. What they had done was most certainly not that. But they were broken out of their trance by Abby clapping quite loudly, "WOO! Now that was what I wanted! Take a bow kids!" Amelia blushed and hid her face into Max's arm and he dramatically bowed. Abby smiled at her reaction before continuing, "I would hate to follow that! Go sit you two superstars!" They laughed as they sat down, feeling as though they could breathe.
